I went to Rome for 4 days and this was definitely the best Italian Restaurant we went to. The pizza and the pasta tasted amazing and the service was also first class. We even wanted to go there the next day for dinner but sadly they were closed- that shows how much we loved the food!

This restaurant was within walking distance of the B&B and we decided to stop and try it out. Had a great seat on the outdoor patio, quick and efficient service. Good homemade food at a reasonable price.

EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE! My husband and I visited this restaurant after reading good reviews about the tiramisu on here. And since that was what we were craving we went for some wine and dessert. Possible something more but we definitely wanted the two and wanted them first, so we tried to order and the waiter was terribly rude when we... More

My family and i visited for the first time tonight. We didn't have a reservation but were able to get a table outside. We ordered pasta and veal dishes and all was lovely home made Italian food. And the bonus was it was inexpensive. We would go again.

Went with my Roman family for lunch and there was room for us. "Wait for the evening," my family said, "You won't be able to get a table!" I was hungry and had the lasagna and then the veal gorgonzola and then the vanilla truffle. Every bite was wonderful. Simple, homey and good. This is a place I'll always come... More

We stayed at the Merulana Inn near this restaurant. Walked in for a late night dinner by chance and loved it--went back again two nights later! The sausage pizza was out of this world, along with gnocci gorgonzola. Staff was wonderful--put up with the dumb American trying to speak Italian after a few glasses of wine and ending up saying... We had a hotel (not that good) in the neighbourhood, and came to this restaurant by accident... It was full, and mostly not that young audience, largely local Italians which seemed rather familiar with the staff. Staff & owner seemed to be a well-oiled family restaurant (trattoria). The food, price, atmosphere was excellent and we had a super diner !... More

We went there every evening, even if we had to properly wait in a line to get a table. Not fancy but simply delicious, gives you the feeling you are in a Italian's home, perfect sea food, pasta and desserts. Nearby, next door just, the best gellateria ever...

This is a wonderful place, centrally located in Rome . The carbonara was the best I had… Great pizza and antipasto too. We loved the cozy atmosphere and the owner personally greeted the diners and helped with the service. House wine was really good. Local's were enjoying the food as much as the tourists. Highly recommend!

We were shown to a table in the fairly empty restaurant, and then totally ignored! Other customers arrived, sat down, and were also ignored! The staff were busy chatting to each other, and didn't seem to care whether customers were there or not. After the restaurant had filled up a bit more, the waiter eventually deigned to ask us for...
