A fantastic restaurant - A++++ -> Go there # Small and cozy # Classical Italian food with modern touch # The best service! # Fantastic food (3 course dinner, not ridiculous star restaurant tasting menus)! # Average to low prices!

I have lived in Rome for six years, so I have been in many restaurants, and I can say Bucavino was a great discovery. Very nice and cozy atmosphere, it's not too big and it is a positive aspect, the owners are very helpful and love their job. You can choose the daily menu and the chef always suggests the... More

The menu of the day was filled with fresh fish and seafood. The place itself is not too sophisticated, neither too everyday. The food was simply marvellous, service nice and gentle. Everything was marvellous!

Nice little place, a little hot in the summer. Went there as we were told their pastas were excellent and in particular their Carbonara.....not so, the Carbonara was a bit "heavy" and so salted it was hard to eat. We all tried it and and all had too much salt. The antipasti, all had almost the same taste as there... More

We've been to this restaurant many times and the food is always delicious. Staff are friendly and very helpful, and while the menu is not extensive, the daily specials are fantastic. The atmosphere is charming and cozy. All in all, a wonderful place to spend an evening.

The food was really excellent. We had a set meal for 70EUR per person and were a bit afraid to make a bad experience - but it was GREAT. The waiter was extremely friendly and the rest of the staff who served us later was also very friendly although it was very busy. We had SEVEN courses, each one was... More

This restaurant is a great place for fresh food and good pasta. I ordered the cacio pepe which was rich and delicious. I also tried their appetizer of the day - little balls of orzo and cheese. House wine is always quite nice. The service was rather slow but the place was packed.

We found the Buca Vino online before a trip to Italy. Arrving just around 7pm we were "early" but were greeted by a charming server and helped with the Italian menu. The food was delicious and well presented in a charming dining room. Service was excellent and it was the best place we ate in 17 days in Italy. If... More

Upon arrival you will notice that there are only locals dining here, and that the waiters have limited English skills, which of course always is a good sign that you will get great food. We had a absolutely lovely meal, with fantastic local food (homemade pasta, two types of meatballs etc.) and great wine! We wanted to go again but... More
