Very good food and service

Had lunch after visiting the Museum and was very impressed. Good food and service. The spinach flan was to die for?... House wine was great and it is a very pleasant space, to boot.

There is a buffet, but we skipped it, ordering off the menu. which offers a solid selection of first and second courses. Service on the slow side, but who's in a rush at an art gallery? Excellent dessert and coffee.

Caffe delle arti is not your typical museum eatery, located next to the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, in the upscale neighbourhood of Paroli in Rome. During our 6 days in Rome a 3 minute walk from our hotel, Hotel Lord Byron, we lunched, snacked and drank out on the terrace several times. The menu is varied offering... More

We had a really great lunch here. Super food, very attentive and polite staff, and a lovely atmosphere. Caffe perhaps gives the wrong impression - this is a proper restaurant, and well worth a visit.

After a morning at the Berghase we wandered over for a light snack. Sat outside on the terrace, very pleasant and the waitress came immediately. I note some negative reviews as to service, ours was fine. Three of us cost E50 for two salads and ham + cheese croissant, two rounds of beverages. Food was fine for a late lunch... More

We had lunch here on our first day and it was really nice. The location is very good and the the service also good. We went back here for dinner on our last night and it wasn't good at all. We ordered frozen margaritas - which were not cheap - and they weren't frozen! We had several attempts at trying... More

Long wait. Not cheap. Not particularly good food or drinks.I didn't think there were good vegetarian options. Quite pleasant surroundings and accessible from the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art.

Having discovered long ago on trips to Italy that museum cafes are rarely disappointing, we thought that Caffe delle Arti was well worth a visit. The fact that we were staying only 5mins walking distance away meant that we actually ate there more than once. The setting is divine and a good proportion of other diners are local Italians who... Good lunch. Stylish place. We had a modest lunch indoors in stylish surroundings. Excellent service. Well priced. Watching other diners enjoying a more sumptuous repast, it was easy to see that the quality was good.

First we went there just to have an "aperitivo" after the exhibition on the art gallery beside. The menu was varied and the atmosphere was AMAZINGLY. So we decided to return for dinner and it was fantastic. We had a great time, with delicious food, good wine and less than 100 euros for two.

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
