My mother and I had just finished exploring the Borghese Gallery and we were on our way to Villa Giulia when we thought that it would be a good idea to find somewhere to eat if we were going to spend another 3 or more hours walking around, so we figured that the Galleria Nazionale D'Arte Moderna would have a... Not recommanding this place unless you are minimum 45-50yrs and have the look from "la bourgeoisie"... my friend and I went to have a drink after a long walk in the nearby park (Villa Borghese) and were ignored for 40 minutes. The waitress saw us from start, after 15 minutes we asked to have the card, she kept going to... More

It was great spending our afternoon there! Very lovely atmosphere. We were in front of the museum waiting for the bus when we noticed that there was a terrace so we decided on the spot to go there. It was a nice way to take a break on a Sunday afternoon. The prices for panini are a bit high, but... More

As noted in the other reviews, the location of the restaurant at the GNAM cannot be beat. The terrace is very attractive, and the food is quite good -- not the usual Roman dishes (although that would be great, too) but interesting variations and fairly light in character. The service is always courteous and professional, although it can be slow... More

Good choice after visiting the Borghese in the morning and wanted to go to the Etruscan Museum in the afternoon. Beautiful terrace which is divided in half – one side for the upscale gourmet menu which on a Sunday would absolutely require a reservation and the other side was a casual salad and sandwich menu which was just what we... I have visited the Caffe delle Arti on a number of occasions and always found the setting, food and service to be excellent. Last week I dined there in a group. The long table was beautifully laid, the waiters extremely accomodating, removing two place settings at a moment's notice and the service throughout was very good. The food was beautifully... More

Caffè delle Arti, a great place in Rome: favolous location, great food, tea time, or apertivo italian style. Excellent service, smiling camerieri, sweet girls, everything required for a good time!

We ate outside on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The little balcony is lovely and elegant, but the prices are unbearably high. 4.50 € for a Coke Zero is something I'd expect to pay in Navona Square.

I stopped for lunch at the Caffe delle Arti while strolling in the magnificent Villa Borghese. Fish croquettes, Salmon with couscous and cheescake were all prefectly acceptable, served in a lovely room adjacent to the National Museum of Modern Art. Prices a bit steep (like everywhere in Rome...), but all-in-all, quite decent. Certainly not worth a detour, but an OK... More
