It's never pleasant to leave a restaurant unhappy after one has eaten well. We had 2 beers, both ordered a pizza. Mine arrived with HALF BOILED egg on top that was not in the description of a Capriossa pizza.... I did not eat it, just worked around it. The crusts were nice& thin& flame cooked! Terrific. We did not eat... More

We ate here on 3 nights whilst staying at the nearby Gran Melia Hotel. I had seen the revues on Tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. We had the spaghetti carbonara on 1 night and it was excellent. On 2 nights we had a delicious fillet steak. It was delicious and extremely reasonable.

We needed a restaurant near our hotel in the Vatican City area on our last evening in Rome. Sor'eva fitted the bill - the atmosphere was good and we were early but the chefs left their table to get to work. The menu is what you would expect from a traditional Trattoria and our main dishes, a seafood pasta and... More

We ate at Sor’Eva three times on our trip to Rome, two lunches and one evening meal. We sampled the veal, tripe and fish risotto dishes plus three different pizzas, two antipastas, tirimisu, icecream and a splendid panna cotto with berries. We drank three bottles of chilled house red and could find no fault with anything. Our largest bill was... More

We chooses to have dinner here on our last night as it was a little bit late to go back to the city center and were already quite hungry. We though it to be simple, but were very surprised to find there a pure local atmosphere! The waiters talking to their usual guests about politics might have seemed somehow unfriendly... More

We have been enjoying Sor'Eva for many years. In July 2014 I was guiding a group of 18 Americans in Rome and thought that Sor'Eva would be perfect for us. Called ahead for a reservation and discussed a menu. Following a visit to Rome's "bad-boy", the Vatican Museum, we all walked over to Sor'Eva. We were pretty spent by the... More

We were out walking in to find the Garibaldi Monument and the great views of the city. We started walking back and the rain started coming and it was deluge and we were not sure where we were. We found a taxi but she didn't cross the river so the 1st place that came to mind was sor'eva! It was... More
