I had better expectations since it's a Routard 2011 awarded place (according to the sticker at the door). The place was very busy (no tables before 21 and it was Tuesday). I ordered a clam spaghetti wich was far overcooked (I'm Italian, this is an unforgivable mistake) and a bit salty, than an artichoke (ok) and a cream&nut cake (nice... More

Don't go here unless You are Italian or at least speak Italien. One of the waiters (owner?) treated my family and myself like dirt! Another female waiter was just fine but it was a bit late for us... Food ok but we would n-e-v-e-r go again. More

Da Teo was recommend to my wife and me by someone else staying at Hotel Gea, who had eaten there the previous night. He was unbiased and recommended it highly. We took a blind chance, made a reservation (necessary), and walked there. It was far but you cannot beat walking in Rome. It was not easy to find as there... More

Enzo is a restaurant that clearly positions itself towards the budget end of the eating spectrum. That's got to be a big draw, because the night I went (Thursday) many, many people were wating, with at least a decent distribution of locals. Service was a definite problem, but it wasn't the poor waitress' problem, it was just lack of staffing.... More

Granted, we went with high expectations, but this had to be the worst meal of our time in Rome. The waitress was downright rude, the pasta bland, the service negligent. There are so many wonderful places to eat in Rome, but I would recommend steering clear of this one. More

I’d like to review one of my favourite restaurant in Rome for traditional Roman food: “da Enzo al 29”, best known as “Da Enzo a Trastevere”. Located in the historical Rome neighborhood Trastevere, hidden in a tiny and narrow street (Via dei Vascellari), da Enzo is the perfect place for a truly authentic Roman culinary experience. This very small restaurant... More

Small family run restaurant. Loved by romans who reside or work in the area. Food is excellent for the price. Fish on friday very fresh and tasty. Limited selection. Service basic but friendly. Worth booking, especially if you want to eat outdoors - some 10 seats. You must turn up on time and be willing to wait a few minutes.... More

Yes it's packed, but deservedly so. Getting a bit too popular with tourists now, but hey - this is Rome. Book in advance if you want to eat there in the evening. And try the Mascarpone More

We live right down the street from this place and eat here all the time. i think the food is amazing, but i'd have to agree with the one guy who gave this place one star, in that they do rush you out, which is unheard of in Italy. they have just gotten too popular (mostly lately with tourists)(and yes,... My 15-yr.old son and I spent the recent Thanksgiving holiday in Rome. We spent Thursday--Thanksgiving Day--touring the Vatican, and had planned to dine at a currently more famous restaurant on Piazza Santa Cecilia. We cabbed to Trastevere and arrived at about 6.15. We were exhausted, famished, and aching for some good food, good service, and good vibes. The hot spot... More
