Description: Giving always attention to meet the changing course of the latest trends...
Giving always attention to meet the changing course of the latest trends, the restaurant has the culinary agility to anchor the current fashion to the heritage of the rules and quality of the food products, maintaining the delicate equilibrium between discretion and popularity. In this way, we assure our guests to be present, without appearing. The original customs officer and the modern host, preserving the historic mission of the place, have been followed by a family known as connoisseurs of taste: the perfection of the proposed cuisine, offered in an ambiance enhanced by the beauty of the great artworks and the meticulous attention for each guest, so to guarantee an exclusive atmosphere combined with the warmth of a comforting familiarity. Our guest, no matter from which movie set arrives, or for how long hasn’t come, is always welcomed with a smile, a shake of hand, a delicious meal accompanied by an excellent wine and with the warmth of the art surrounding this fascinating angle of Rome. We know well that what the body nurtures is not foreign to the soul.

Patio Is Lovely and Buzzing On a Warm Summer Evening

Our hotel sent us here when I asked them for a good dinner recommendation. It was a 15-minute cab ride from The St. Regis. We were not disappointed. The staff was unfailingly welcoming and gracious. The menu is wonderful, and the pasta is exceptional. That said, I am concerned they overcommit the staff or they are not well organized. Things like pacing courses or a special request is a challenge for them. Also, allow plenty of time for asking for the check. Our car service gave up because it took almost 30 minutes to get... Top end restaurant for a special occasion. Wonderful setting in a private courtyard. Enormous wine list and the place is very expensive. However the food and service is superb. Unless you are a wine expert I suggest you just tell the sommelier what you are eating and your price range and he will set you up. Try the wooden box... More

The service was great as was the food. My son eats very limited items and they not only helped him chose but assured if he didn't like it they would replace it. He of course loved it.

This place was recommended by our hotel bar man... We rocked up with no resignation which I would highly recommend, however they made a table available.... The staff are amazing and the food was awesome. A definite surprise highlight

The food here was great! If you were paying only for the food, it would be over priced, but the atmosphere and location make up for the cost in a big way. The dining area is outside in a large courtyard surrounded by old buildings and amazing views. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and feels cozy. The wait staff... More

Simply put, this is the best meal my wife and I have ever had! We found Antica Pesa by way of Brooklyn, as they have another location in our neighborhood (which is also an incredible meal and a must visit). When we arrived we were greeted by the owners wife who embodies everything you want from an Italian woman! After... More

We had a fantastic meal for 7 people outside in their garden. The ambiance and weather were beautiful. We all had a great meal, I had the cypress salad and the vongole pasta. Only issue for me was they take the meat out of the clams, I like to eat them from the shells. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This was a highly recommended. We found the food very good and the service good but pretentious. More to the point, there are three restaurants across the street which we found to have better food, better service and be significantly less expensive. Note that the lemon grass creme brulee is worth a visit.

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
