My wife and I made reservations at Da Carlone while we were in Rome. When we got to the restaurant we stood at the door for about 10 minutes while workers completely ignored us. We finally asked if we could take a seat. They acted as though we were annoying them. After we were seated we sat for another 30... More

This was another great Trastevere location we stumbled upon. We found it on a Saturday night but they were too busy. We were able to go back early on Sunday night and get a table. It was worth the wait! Very good food, prices and huge portions of pasta! My husband said it was one of the best carbonara dishes... More

Da Carlone is a few steps from my apartment but in five years, I'd never eaten there, not sure exactly why, other than I assumed it was just another average Roman restaurant. But, having seen a number of locals there and a good-sized crowd always having a good time, I decided to check the reviews on Trip Advisor as I... More

Everyone of course loves the pasta here, but it seemed everywhere we went, salads weren't served so I was very appreciative that we got salad with this meal as well, helped to lighten the carb load. Also, noted that the "protein" was more of a side unlike in the US, so I did upload a photo of the tasty veal... More

We were recommended to go here and the pastas were fantastic and fresh. It was in fact one of the best pastas we had in the city. The waiters were attentive and good.

I've been there five times since I one friend recomended it to me four months ago. The reason? It's carbonara. I like carbona a lot, it's in the top ten of my favourite meals and I've probably ordered carbona in more than 50 restaurants. Their carbonara is the best Carbona ever, it worth going there just for trying it. They... More

We had dinner here during our trip in Italy and France in August 2014. The food was really good expecially the pasta "caccio e peppe" which is a tipical romano food - local dish. But there were some people complaining for the bad Service. Overall i think we had a very good dinner, a little expensive, but good.

This cute little restaurant was recommended by a local for its excellent pasta, and did not disappoint. Good food, very friendly service, and the outdoor seating was lovely. We especially liked the ravioli. The desserts were awesome.

I don't know what else to say. It was so ridiculously good that I already know that I'm going to talk about the carbonara at this restaurant for years to come. We had an dinner (7.30pm) so were seated straight away. Our food took 15 mins max. to come out. The wine was great, as was the service. But my,... More
