The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a good and reasonably priced lunch buffet. The buffet includes both hot and cold items, fresh meats, cheeses, and vegetables, and some seafood items.

We ate one night there. We tried 2 different pastas, those were delicious. Price is good, waitress was kind. A nice, quiet place for couples.

The food was fine but the service provided by the waiter was very poor. He was distracted by spruiking to passing traffic on the footpath all night and subsequently we were left waiting for long periods to order and receive food and drinks.

We went here for the lunch buffet.. twice. The first time was good since they had vegetarian pasta (im vegetarian) and some other veggie stuff (tomato and mozzarella, salat etc.) But the second time was disappointing cause they didnt have any vegetarian warm meals and the side dishes were mainly meat too. The one thing i ate was bruschetta (old... More

Me and my boyfriend came here for dinner in the middle of the week during our trip to Rome, the place was about half full. The waiter, Andy, seemed friendly, he brought us some water 'to start', then he brought bread over, which I thought was nice. I ordered the gnocchi with pumpkin sauce, which was lovely, but there wasn't... More

Our first night in Rome we walked heaps trying to figure out what to eat for dinner. Then came across this restaurant, I'm glad we did. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We had an entree each and a pasta dish each. The servings for the pasta were huge and greatly priced too. And finished off with an espresso.... More

The restaurant staff is very attentive and helpful, and the food is relatively good. I would return again, if just for the appetizer dishes that were very flavorful. Overall, the meal was good and the atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant offers a fixed menu that is a very good deal for the amount of food you're served. The lemon... More

Nice menu & good service (once we got past the young man who accosted us on the street!) lovely fillet steak if a little pricey. Lacked atmosphere.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
