Tasty

Tasty food. We had pasta that tasted very nice and good portion size. The bruschetta is nice too. We were charged twice for bread even though we only ate one basket, but we didn't mind too much.

My husband and I went back to this restaurant 4 times during our stay in Rome. The servers were kind (brought us free glasses of wine) and the food was amazing. My favourite meal was tonnarelli a cacio e 3 pepe. The Best !

Directly opposite our hotel and recommended by hotel staff, we headed across in pursuit of a wood fired pizza. instead I got what felt like a pre-frozen pizza heated up in an electric oven. Very below par. My husband ordered gnocchi and it likewise felt prepackaged. We didn't bother stay for dessert. Service was ok and decor was quaint. There... More

Me and my husband wen't there because our top two restaurants for the night were booked out. the restaurant is OK but not over the top. There isn't any fresh pasta, and mine carbonara had too much oil, but the meat secondi was good. My husband was better than mine, but both were something on good. They also take a... More

My business group arrived in the evening on a Thursday and that limited the available restaurant options. Our hotel pointed us to RomAntica as it was two blocks from the Best Western Hotel President. Restaurant is surprisingly large and Andrea provided outstanding service during both meals. Definitely recommend the RomAntica Fantasy for starters, and the beef filet is spectacular. It... More

My first dinner in Rome, back in 2012. We've tried Spaghetti alla carbonara and Bucatini all'Amatriciana and it was one of the best meals we ever had in Italy. We were served with Limoncino and we drank Peroni at 0.66l after. I don't remember exactly how much was the bill, but it was very cheap, if you think about the... More

Went in late 11pm with group of 5 and were treated very well. Orders taken promptly and food delivered in normal amount of time. It was delicious.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
