Delicious Food

The food we had was great. Unfortunately, the communication between us and our waiter was not very good because he didn't speak English well and we don't speak Italian well. He ended up messing up our order, but all in all it worked out and we were happy with our meal and the atmosphere. Loved... read more

Excellent seafood dishes. My daughter said her linguini a la Vongole was the best she ever had. The mussel starter was also very yummy. Nice atmosphere. Don't try the lemon sorbet though, only disappointment.

We were at that restorant at July,2015 with group of friends. We came very later (near 23.00), but the service was nice and the food was very delicious. First, that amazed us, was the plate of starter's mix - it was huge and it was enough for all of us (8 people) The pasta was tasty, the red local wine... More

We have found this place thanks to the hotel where we were accommodated. At first we didn´t believe that we could have tasted such a good food only for 8EUR a person. There were first dishes, second dishes, trimmings and also cake and fruit, all of a good quality. We were four times for lunch here. The place is situated... More

We were in Rome for 5days. Everyday we had lunch in the restaurant RomAntica, very delicious, buffet lunch consisting of first dish, second dish and trimmings. The price was really exceptional for staying in the centre of Rome, only 8 EUR all inclusive

The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a good and reasonably priced lunch buffet. The buffet includes both hot and cold items, fresh meats, cheeses, and vegetables, and some seafood items.

We ate one night there. We tried 2 different pastas, those were delicious. Price is good, waitress was kind. A nice, quiet place for couples.

The food was fine but the service provided by the waiter was very poor. He was distracted by spruiking to passing traffic on the footpath all night and subsequently we were left waiting for long periods to order and receive food and drinks.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
