We actually looked at the good ratings of this restaurant on TripAdvisor before deciding to book while in Rome for a long weekend with four of our friends. We were really looking forward to the evening. On arrival, we were shown to our seats . We waited over 20minutes and hadn't even received a wine list or request for drinks.... more

I booked this restaurant through toptable.com on the 2nd night of our 3 night stay in Rome. I booked it as a surprise for my girlfriend. The restaurant is different to others in Trastevere, very modern interior and not the traditional Italian food you would expect in Trastevere. On arrival at the restaurant we were greeted by the staff who... more

I booked this restaurant with TopTable before my husband and I left for Rome - purely on the basis of it being in Trastevere (where we were staying) and the reviews on Trip Advisor. Neither of us were disappointed. The restaurant was impressive. Very contemporary and certainly a contrast to the rest of Trastevere. The staff were attentive, but not... more

This is a lovely restaurant in Trastevere, it doesnt look much from the outside (and there is no outside seating for diners) but dont be put off as it is lovely and modern inside. There are also plenty of bars around the area to have a drink before/after your meal too. We had the tasting menu 55 Euros per person... more

NOT a tratorria, but what a contemporary tratorria should be. Italian dishes prepared by a chef (young, woman!) with a keen sense of flavors and presentation. The bread ! was thoughtful and fun with six varieties, freshly made. The amuse bouche was tartare. Appetizers were figs and veal tongue perfectly sliced and presented. Wonderful pasta pillows to follow. Squab with... more

Booked this on the strength of other reviews and we weren't disappointed. Best find in the area of Travestere. Superb food - good clean flavours. Up market dining! Interior v modern. We did walk past it the first time - its right on the corner of a junction and hard to spot initially. Go if your budget stretches! more

I booked a table for my husbands birthday via toptable.com whilst visiting Rome in April. The food is wonderful and everything we ate was amazing. I got in touch with the restaurant before we went and they were kind enough to make a birthday cake for my husbands birthday. The scallop encrusted with pistachio's was devine and I thoroughly enjoyed... more

Hard to find in Trastevere, but well worth the search. Modern decor, modern touch to classic dishes. Everything we ordered was delicious and perfectly presented. The Italian chef worked in the US for many years and has returned to Rome with a lot of wonderful ideas. If it's in your budget, you should not miss this one! more

Our best meal in Italy and one of our best meals ever, in the world. Chef Cristina is very innovative... and I mean that in a good way! For example, one of our pasta dishes was subtly flavored with ginger . And there was an amuse bouche of steak tartare made with orange zest. (I'm not a big eater of... more
