Although the food was mediocre the service was the worst I have ever experienced. The waitresses were extremely rude and surly and the food took well over an hour to arrive. When it did only two of the three dishes arrived. The other arrived 40 minutes later. However the waitresses seemed to be perfectly polite to the Italian locals dining... more

This place was definitley not easy to find, but it was worth looking. We read about this place in Fodor's Rome book. We walked over to Trastevere after doing the Colosseum and other ruins. We were in Rome May 5-10, 2009 and ate here twice (and we're usually not the kind to eat somewhere twice). The food was excellent, the prices very reasonable and the atmosphere was very cute. visited this establishment twice in june 08, beautiful food, friendly service and the square is beautiful. the scamoza cheese and parma ham was simple yet delicious, overall a lovely place to eat and judging by the crowds a popular one as well. more

This wonderful little restaurant is just across a quaint little piazza from the famous Da Augusto restaurant. Rather than queue we went in to the Casetta, the food was brilliant.
