Good restaurant near the historical sights of Rome

This is a good restaurant to have lunch before or after you enjoyed a tour of the Collosseo or forum romanum. There is a big shaded terrace. The service is fast and friendly. The menu is varied and good. Recommend

When we came across this restaurant the first time, we were so tired, hungry, and thirsty that I was willing to put up with any price or any quality. It was a nice surprise to find it was both inexpensive and delicious, and sitting outside under a canopy of thick green vines made it very pleasant. The service was gracious,... More

Nice placed near Collosseum. I guess that is all they need. The food was mediocre and pretty pricy. Good serving staff though.

Stopped for wine after a night tour, great ambience, food looked and smelled awesome (we didn't eat), waiters were great, a very enjoyable break.

With temperatures at 100F, we needed a break and some food. We were welcomed by a pleasant man ans seated outside by the sidewalk. The traffic noise was minimal. My wife and son had pizza, which they enjoyed. The waiters were very helpful in finding gluten free options on the regular menu. My salad with smoked salmon was satisfying.

After having yomped around the colosseum and forum on a baking hot July day we were starving and looking for a place to eat. As we left the forum we spotted this across the road. We went to check the menu expecting it to be overpriced due to its proximity to the aformentioned. Actually the prices weren't too bad. A... More

After a long walk in Rome and 35 degrees even though way after sunset I almost panicked from the heat and we dove in here when we walked by. Food was very good and the wine was OK. The waiter insisted on humming all the time as a gimmick though which was really annoying.

After a hot walk around the colosseum with 3 kids in tow, we decided to eat at this very shaded establishment. Cool drinks and a tasty feed did the job of reviving us. There was no cover charge out other skulldugery to scam tourists. Just good food at reasonable prices, and prompt service. Pretty good for somewhere so close to... More
