Decent restaurant

We eat here spontaneously. Good food, fine wines. Not a tourist trap. You can eat here don't worry. 3 main courses with a bottle of house wine costs about 60 euros. I can eat here again.

had lunch on a busy Sunday afternoon. No outside tables available, but a friendly waiter found us an excellent table with just a few minutes wait. I ordered pasta for the first time in Italy. It was tomato based. It was very tasty. We also ordered a bottle of wine, recommended by our waiter. It was excellent.

This was probably the price you pay for allowing your tiredness after a morning's sightseeing get the better of you and visiting almost the closest eaterie to the ancient ruins. Nothing wrong with the service which was very friendly and generally pretty efficient and the price was certainly not jaw-dropping as it might be near tourist attractions in some capital... More

Well, you dont expect gourmet cuisine, when u are having lunch while seeing the Forum Romanum and Colloseum. So we did not have too big expectations, but were pleasantly surprised. Friendly waiters, reasonably priced good food. Nothing really special, but a comfortable lunch. this was what we wanted.

After a long day of walking around the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, we needed a meal that not only filled our bellies but our souls too. This was the ticket! We ate lunch in the "tent" on a beautiful and unseasonably warm November day. Throughout my time there, this place held the top spot for having the best pasta... More

Had a wonderful outdoor lunch at this trattoria which was about a 15 minute walk from the Colosseum. We were a party of 5 and had a nice table near an outdoor heating lamp. It was about 50 degrees but we were warm enough to enjoy our lunch, Their was a great musical duo who stopped by and played for... More

If you sit in the garden to eat, then you will be have a view of the Forum of Nerva on one side and the Basilica of Maxentius on the other. Probably the only restaurant in the world able to make that boast! Slow service, but the view compensates. Good pizza. One of the few restaurants in Rome with a... More

Excellent restaurant, reasonably priced and close to the Colisseum. Friendly (singing!) waiter and superb pasta and wine. A great find.

Conveniently situated for dinner after a visit to the Forum or Colosseum. Friendly service and great food. The waiters were great with the children.
