Unexpectedly good

The garcons are not very friendly or sympathetic, but the pizza I ordered there was so much tasty. You also get a very nice view of the old forums from eating outside.

Stopped here as we were close to the Colosseum, walked in and were treated to the best table service we have had on our whole trip. Sami was a legend. The drinks are expensive whilst the food is relatively cheap, which is where they make their money I guess. I had Brushetta to start and then I ordered a ham... More

Convenient place just below our hotel, which had amazing food and service from beginning to end! Touristic, but yet authentic. Well done!

We were a little hesitant about going here at first as it is very close to the Colosseum so we thought prices would be ridiculously expensive. However the food was fab and the price very reasonable. Wish we had gone here more than once but we only found this little gem on our last evening. We enjoyed pizza, pasta, wine... More

We stopped there for lunch on our way to the Coliseum. The restaurant was dirty. Food was terrible. Service was worse.

We stopped off at this restaurant rather tentatively initially just to have a coffee and expecting it to be expensive given the location. While we were there we saw some great food being served up and liked the cheerful and friendly staff and so we returned later with friends for a full meal. Well my wife is Italian and i... More

We ate here on our first night in Rome and were a little nervous about it being a "tourist trap" (being so close to the Forum and the Colosseum) but we couldn't of been more wrong. Excellent Carbonara and risotto. Good service and very friendly. I'd recommend for a quick pit stop and refuelling!
