We were a little hesitant about going here at first as it is very close to the Colosseum so we thought prices would be ridiculously expensive. However the food was fab and the price very reasonable. Wish we had gone here more than once but we only found this little gem on our last evening. We enjoyed pizza, pasta, wine... More

We stopped there for lunch on our way to the Coliseum. The restaurant was dirty. Food was terrible. Service was worse.

The garcons are not very friendly or sympathetic, but the pizza I ordered there was so much tasty. You also get a very nice view of the old forums from eating outside.

We stopped off at this restaurant rather tentatively initially just to have a coffee and expecting it to be expensive given the location. While we were there we saw some great food being served up and liked the cheerful and friendly staff and so we returned later with friends for a full meal. Well my wife is Italian and i... More

We ate here on our first night in Rome and were a little nervous about it being a "tourist trap" (being so close to the Forum and the Colosseum) but we couldn't of been more wrong. Excellent Carbonara and risotto. Good service and very friendly. I'd recommend for a quick pit stop and refuelling!

We live in Italy and went to Rome for my wifes birthday, after a long morning walking around the sites we stopped for lunch, We ordered antipasta which in Puglia consists of many different plates, however in this "restaurant" consisted of two thin slices of what I presume was a patti of sorts and two slices of dry cheese. At this... I am sitting with my wife in the restaurant and it takes ages to get a waiter here. I am disappointed with the service, a cup of Cappuccino takes 20 + min to be delivered. Mussels tasted just ok for a premium price paid. The USP is the location and only location.

We enjoyed Angelinoaifori dal 1947. We sat outside which was nice. The waiters were fun and working hard. The restaurant was busy, but everything worked out. The food was really good. Very good and very good for big groups. We were a group of 20 and they handled us very well and we had a great time. Bravo!

I think the tittle sums things up. Detailing a bit: The food was mostly ok with some exceptions like the Brushetta that was just a toast with olive oil... The service is good and friendly. The space is quite good, in particular outside, except for the quite uncomfortable chairs. It could be a ok restaurant if it wasn't for its... More
