Good food near the Roman Forum

I liked the buzz of the place. As we arrived all tables were taken and there were a couple waiting in front of us. We didn't have to wait long and were seated at a lovely little table under the green roof. The food was nice, plenty of choice on the menu, not the best we had but definitely... read more

We went here as was staying nearby & tripadvisor reviews seemed okay x The service & location was good however the food was not up to much at all especially when we'd had a much better meal up the road (?? what it was called) for about 30euros less x I'd advise to go somewhere else xx

Ok place. Servers were friendly but service was poor. Wrong meals to all the tables around us (and including us). Prices high for what you get. Wine list ok but not great. Location a couple blocks from the Colosseum is what makes it. I've tried to review another place just across from here called Manacuja...it isn't listed on Trip Advisor... More

This is a lovely restsursnt in the centre of Rome, convenient fir the Coloseum, Forum, Fori Imperiali and Piazza del Campidoglio. It's popular, and you might have to wait to be seated at busy times. The food is well prepared and delicious, and the serving staff are very friendly. Recommend.

With a prime location down the street from the Colosseum, this restaurant will continue to attract tired tourists for years to come. You can sit outside in a shady spot... such a nice respite from the heat. Our hungy kids were happy with their average pasta, but the veal we all ordered was fatty, drenched in bad sauce and overpriced.... More

It's a great restaurant with very good food, decent prices and good service. The waiters made quite a show the day we ate there. They were singing while taking the order, serving or bringing "il conto". They were very happy and gave us such a good mood. I don't know if they are like this everyday or it was just... More

To tell the truth, I'm slightly picky but I visited this restaurant twice and it was lovely! Very close to the Colosseum but the prices don't reflect that and I believed them to be very reasonable for a prime tourist spot. Tried the Risotto Verde, Pizza Dell'Angelo and the Carbonara and all of them were really nice. Only issue was... More

Pleasantly surprised. This was very near the Colosseum, but wasn't the rip off that many of the "tourist" restaurants can be. Exceptional service, we were treated very well. Food was good, sat outside under an umbrella, very nice experience.

We ate here a number of times on our holiday in Rome, It is in such a beautiful area which is really easy to reach by metro and by foot as everything is really close by. The food is lovely but small portions if ordering meat dishes as you have to order an extra side. The pizza's here are great!... More

good food alone doesn't count in this restaurant business! The staff the manager everybody should have the heart for service! To welcome people to eat not to treat them as objects! I waited in line and as soon as I got a seat ordered and ate my lunch! It was like already ticket out! People are not king and respectful!... More
