We stumbled into the Terrazza Barberini desperately tired and hungry. What a mistake we made not walking another block to find a better restaurant. The service was so slow. There were lots of staff running around looking very busy but that didn't mean the drinks arrived quickly or our food. We waited for ages. And when our pasta came it... More

Beware- expensive! Very tasty pasta, ante pasta and the ice cream was just perfect. I must remind you that on this same terrace main characters of Den Brown's book "Da Vinci's code" were having a supper when they saw Bassilica del Fuoco burning...

Terrazza Barberini oozes charm on its inside, with nice outdoor balcony seating that would make for some great atmosphere in warmer times. Typical Italian restaurant prices, with pizzas around 10 euro, pastas around 15, and seafood/meat mains ranging between 20 to 30 euros. Had a fried calzone which was huge and well-stuffed with cheese and meat, left feeling thoroughly satisfied... More

A nice almost hidden spot, serving lovely mini pizzas and small pastries. Good food, good value, perfect for lunch. We had a mini pizza each, a small pastry each and a coffee. That was only €17, you can't complain at that ...

Test a Pizza napolitana as in Naples and check the differences with the Roman style. The service was excellent and the terrazza gives you a descrete location to eat in the noisy barberini avenue. At night what is a little bit unpleasant is the fact that due to the many people that know the place, the tables with view in... More

We happened upon this place on our first night in Rome (Monday evening) as it was close to our hotel and we were not after anything in particular. We did not let the lack of people dissuade us from entering but this should have been a sign. In a nutshell, they couldn't make a simple Negroni (only three ingredients!), service... More

Dining out with my family,I was very disappointed since they billed us for a plain pasta dish (without any sauce) 12,00 Euro. After my remarks on the fact that it was served to a 1-year boy, they reduced the price to 10,00 Euro. Moreover, it is the first restaurant I had to pay coperto (cover charge) also for the infant:... Nice location overlooking a large piazza and fountain. Fisherman's Risotta was nice, a little salty buy still enjoyable. The duck breast in berry sauce was ok because of the tasty berry sauce. But the duck itself was tough and overlooked. Seemed more like beef. Desserts were good--the profiteroles were fantastic. Service was solid.

We visited this restaurant during our stay in Rome, we sat just for a capuccino and tiramisu but both was delicious. You can sit outside on the garden and watch the street bustle. Staff was very nice and was not bother that we just sat for a coffee and not for a whole meal like in some other places in... More

This place was close to our hotel so we stopped there twice. The first time we just sat on the patio enjoying the sun and drinking a few beers. The waitress was great - and we were given non-stop potato chips and nuts (helped keep us ordering beer!). Next time we had lunch, same friendly waitress and this time we... More
