Excellent quality in both the food and service, we had an awesome new years here. Cozy enviroment, classy and modern keeping the touch of ancient Rome with the arches and everything. We had music all night long and the singer was also very good and music appropiate for the dinner. The staff made us feel like home even when we... More

My husband as a young student went to this restaurant many years ago with his parents and raved about the food so on our trip to Rome this holiday, I thought it would be a nice choice for New Years and reviews on Tripadvisor were all good!. The food was very poor and not worth the €90 per person. We expected... More

My husband and I just got to Rome today (Nov, 17th 2014) for our honeymoon and right after we got here, we decided to go out and have dinner. Corsetti is close to our apartment and since it looked great we randomly decided to give it a try. We couldn't have been happier! The ambience of the place was impecable.... More

We had a big joint dinner with 150 persons. Two days before I went to the Corsetti 1921 with my colleague for introducing ourselves and to check everything we had agreed. They invited us friendly for dinner and for testing their food which was fresh and very good. For the previewed day the whole restaurant was reserved for our group,... More

Our first night in Rome and on our honeymoon we had a great time here at Corsetti 1921. We were made to feel very welcome as if with an Italian family for dinner and shared a few jokes with the lovely waiter that served us. The meals were made better by them going out of there way to ensure my... More

Corsetti Galeone is a great place for top notch seafood in the heart of Trastevere. Its so tasty and fresh, you'd feel like you're sitting beachfront. I've been dining here every year for a few years and every time I'm in Rome, always go back and am never disappointed. Best advice - go hungry and have one of each course.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
