I had read about this cafe at the Rome book guide but I came across by accident. The best coffee I drank in Italy. You can find also coffee to buy for your coffee machine. Worth even for a "normalle" in standing

When researching where to eat in Rome, I found Mario's top choices in Rome. Sant'Eustachio made this short list. The coffee was excellent- truly the best cappuccino that I have ever had!

Multiple friends recommended that we visit Sant-Eustachio, one of the oldest and best known coffee shops in Rome. On the plus side, the coffee was excellent - well brewed, fresh, smooth. It was good enough that the shop was where I chose to purchase items to bring home. The service and atmosphere leave a lot to be desired. You can... More

Rome guide, Anastasia Golubeva advised this place. I have tried it and had a coffee and Cantuccio The espresso was just one of the best ever had! With a firm and tasty froth! Simpe and the best! You can also buy some coffee for your home, a coffee machine and the other related stuff...

I think it's the best place in Rome to buy coffee. I drank some and it was really tasty. Also I bought some to home. AMAZING!

We were recommended to go to S. Eustachio for "the best coffee in Rome", and so we did. After spending 10 minutes on their terrace we decided to go inside and pass through our order (against Roman rules on taking orders when sitting down - which is more expensive). The lady behind the bar almost shouted saying they take orders... More

We decided to try coffee at this bar, since it is supposed to be good. Service outside was lazy, so we went inside and ordered a coffee. There were empty tables and we took our coffee to the empty one. The waiter hurled outside, asked whether we speak italian or english. After I replied that it didn't matter, he literally... More

Must try the coffee if you are near, It was definitely the best coffee we had in Italy. We were taken their by our friends who live in Rome as I am real coffee fanatic. Just stand up to drink inside otherwise it gets really expensive if you sit at a table outside.

Great coffee with a good price (but do not sit outside). The milefoglie was only ok, though. I find the experience at the Tazza d'Oro a little more extraordinary, and therefore place the Sant'Eustachio at the second place of my favourite caffes in Rome.

We loved this small, welcoming coffee shop a short walk away from the Pantheon. The coffee was reasonably priced ranging from about 2-4 euros (to stand at the bar) and was deliciously sweet. I would recommend the frappe al caffe and the mousse al caffe. Don't miss the best coffee in Rome!
