Fancy food in Rome

The food is very nice, I would especially recommend the 'intense' mozzarella and octopus ragu pasta! I didn't enjoy the black truffle pasta as much, i it felt that the flavours were not there. The desserts are very good, especially the ricotta and honey one. However, waiters are not very nice and I... read more

I always go to Obica when I go to Rome as the food is so fresh and delicious. This location - tucked away in a quiet little square - is definitely my favourite. Lunch is just so yummy and light - full of flavour, freshly made. And the staff here are really nice, happy to chat away in English and... More

Way too much corn meal in the dough. I thought I was eating a polenta pie. There was corn meal underneath and in the sauce. Every bite left my mouth feeling gritty. ok. Also the mozzarella didn't taste fresh which is strange because this was supposedly a mozzarella bar. This was hands down the worst pizza I've ever had in... More

Got there around 11 am and found a table for 7 without any trouble. By noon the place was packed. We got the mozzarella assortment and the salami selection with focaccia and a bottle of rose prosecco. Everything was recommended by the waiter and it was amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent place for really good meat and cheese platters. The perfect restaurant when you are walking around Rome and want to have a rest and a good meal. Their wine was excellent too.

Went here today and dear god it was great. Staff were great and menu was varied. I needed a cool down in the sun so ordered a cold soup, it was fantastic. My partner who hates cold soup kept trying to steal it, lucky I had bits of bruschetta to throw at her to keep her at bay. After a... More

We visited Obica in Parliament in May of 2015. The restaurant is located near the Parliament building in a small, quiet square. We came for a brunch and the restaurant was empty. My wife and I picked a table for four but we were moved by the waitress to a table for two for no special reason. The restaurant remained... More

Great little mozzarella and salad bar in a quiet piazza steps from the Pantheon bustle. All the mozzarella is fresh and hand made. Prices are reasonable, salads are very fresh.

This restaurant is listed as recommended place to eat in the Berlitz Pocket Guide and you can see why! The food was exquisite, the best pasta I had I Italy! My girlfriend is a cheese lover and she was over joyed! Great staff, good wine and great little desserts too! Easy to find with a map of Rome and off... More

We happened to pass this place at a small square when searching for a lunch place. What a great find! We had a table outside, and the place was soon filled up. Known for mozzarella, I would recommend to try one of the different types. The bread was delicious, as was the cold platter of meat and mozzarella we shared.... More
