Cheap and good quality.

Looks totally rubbish from the outside.. But go in! €18.90 all you can eat. Very cheap drinks! When you have a sushi platter that was totally fresh served to you on a small boat for a small price you can't complain. They don't really speak English which I actually liked. Ha ha ha. I had to laugh when I saw a review stating this was the best Chinese food they had ever eaten. Reallyyyy??!!!!!! It's really bad Chinese food. Small portions/ undercooked rice/ bad service. They never bring your rice with the main course, no matter how any times you ask, so you sit there with your rice getting cold... More

After reading some positive reviews on this restaurant, 2 friends and I went to Grande Rubino for dinner and... This was probably the worst dinner I ever had in my life! First of all, the waiters could not speak English or Italian, only Chinese, so it was quite hard to clear some doubts we had over the menu (not even... More

One of the best Chinese/Thai restaurants I have been to anywhere. When you get tired of the Italian pasta, try some good Thai. They did not have Pad Thai listed on the menu, but they did make it when we asked.

Favorite chinese restaurant in Rome. Excellent food (my favorite is their grilled duck), good service (everybody's always sinecerely smiling), not too greasy (but anyway wear something that needs a wash rather than your new trendy clothes), and absolutely cheap (25 Euros for 2 people, sharing a litre of their house wine). Me and my girlfriend have been lovin it since... More

Staying in Testaccio

Neighborhood Profile
Testaccio
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighborhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
