Nice Indian food at Rome, Italy

This restaurant is operated by Punjabi family. Food is nice, warm. People are cordial, helpful. Space is smaller so when a big group comes for food then it is little difficult for movement.

I was with my mom in Rome for 2 days. We were carving to have Indian food when I found this restaurant. The service was awesome and the food was super tasty. It was not costly and its worth whatever you spend. I highly recommend this place to whoever whats to taste an authentic Indian food.

Worst quality food. we travelled through escorted group tour. The food was pathetic, quality worse and service terrible. Sweet dish was either not served and if reminded then served with as less as possible. Sahme on these people. complete wastage of time an dmoney

This indian restaurant is by far the best meal I've had. There are 2 other Indian places in the vicinity, we tried all 3 and this was the best food. Good service too. I would definitely go there again and recommend everyone to visit as well. Very near to the Colosseum (walking distance). Did I mention great food.

I consider this Indian restaurant to be my favourite in Rome. The food is consistently authentic and good quality, the service is excellent and we have got to know the staff as friends. Many Indian families on a trip to the Eternal City eat here so they must know their stuff! I always get my bowl of fresh coriander to... More

My wife and I were in Rome for a week long visit and ended up eating dinner at Mother India for 2 of those nights. The food was good, the service friendly and the cost reasonable. Its was an overall pleasant and enjoyable time. Great value for money and a rich cultural experience. It is a good change from local... More

would not recommend this! Being a foodie by heart and soul, its very disappointing when the food you eat, doesn't stand up to the expectation. We were in Venice a day before and the Indian restaurant "GANESHJI" servers amazing Indian food. probably even better than the food which is being served in India itself. Considering the rating here,i tried this place.... More

Enjoyed every mouthful. If we were staying longer we would definitely go back again. Waiting staff very friendly and helpfull. Husband does a lot of travelling and said it was "truly authentic Indian cuisine". We have been in Italy for two weeks and it is the best meal we have had.

This place added a 4 euro surcharge to the bill claiming it was "government tax." I believe that they are ripping people off. I also saw them trying to overcharge another family sitting next to us who got the bill amount to be reduced. Do not eat at this place!
