The north Indian food is being cooked by a south Indian chef. The food tasted quite bad. Moreso, the owner is quite a character. He charged us 30% service charge and refused to accept the credit card. Overall, a disaster!

This restaurant was a welcome change from all of the Italian food whilst we were holidaying in Rome. The food is delightful and the staff were generous in offering extra papadams and condiments. The main dishes were a good size and overall it was a very tasty meal!

We were thrilled by our experience at Kohinoor. We are Americans in Naples so every time we go up to Rome, we get Indian. Of the three places we've been to in Rome, this is the best of the three. Great prices, generous portions. Located right south of the Vatican. We got the set menu which was very reasonable and... More

Outstanding Indian food! My wife and I stumbled across this restaurant during our daily tours of Rome. We ate here one night to get away from the regular pizza/pasta menus. We were blown away by the tasty food and friendly service. This restaurant is a nice break from the daily Italian diet. The food was so good that we returned... More

We probably were The most difficult table a restaurant could face, 9 people, all with different tastes, habits and experiences about indian food, so we can not complain too much about the fact that service was a little slow, specially after considering All dishes are prepared at the moment, contrary to most "indian" restaurants in Roma. Food was excellent, tasty,... More

After a long day at Vatican museum, I decided to go this restaurant for a meal. I had to walk the whole way back from Vatican museum. And after i reached the place, the folks said they are completely booked. Not even a place for single person. So I would advise to do a prior booking and then only go.

Reasonably good Indian food when you are tired of pizzas and pasta. A strange practice: they offer papadams and then you find a charge of €1/ papadam on your bill. Other than that, it is a pleasant place for a quiet dinner.

After spending a long day at the Vatican, having dinner at Kohinoor was the best thing to happen. Food was just great. I had tandoori rotis and shahi paneer. It was awesome!! The service was a little slow but very tasty food.

Had an early dinner over this place. Very average.... only if you are interested in taking Indian food.... that too if you are too hungry... go for it.... otherwise enjoy local food.
