Really welcoming as soon as you walk in. Staff very attentive, service very good. Would go there again if we had more time in Rome. We would recommend to others who would like a change from Itailian meals.

I love indian food and tasted it in many places in the world including India...... ...this restaurant was quite disappointing and very expensive for the poor quality of food served. The starters ( 1 samosa 1 veg pakora and prawn pakora) clearly out of the microvawe. Nan was flat, curries very mild and not spices /flavor......likely also out microvawe. They... More

We wanted to eat Italian but as it was a weekend all the places we had picked for the evening meal were full. This Indian restaurant was also fairly packed but they managed to squeeze us in anyway. A complimentary prosecco was a good start to the meal and the food they served didn't disappoint. We tried some typical Indian... More

I was lucky enough to be introduced to Maharajah my first trip to Rome in 2009. I now eat here every time I am in the city. The staff here is amazing and always ensure we leave satisfied. The food is incredible. I would recommend the swordfish tiki masala or the saag gosht. Honestly you cannot go wrong with anything... More

Being English, I love a curry and will search high and low to seek out a descent curry house. Staying on the Vatican side of Rome, it was a little walk to the metro to go to Monti. Was it worth it? Not in my opinion, I ordered an aubergine curry that resembled baby food when it was served. The... More

Had the Vindaloo, was far hotter than the ones iv had in England, still nice though, cool interior and cutlery made out of bronze! Food came out really quick and the portions could have been a bit bigger, but still worth a visit if you love Indian cuisine

Being Vegetarian and that too allergic to cheese seems picky in Rome. Yet delighted myself with Roman cuisine but was craving for Indian food and this place saved my day. Delicious, sumptuous, nice and ethnic ambiance. the host were polite and courteous. If you in Rome and crave for Indian Veg, you know the place now.
