Well-deserved visit

We were craving Asian food and read about this on trip advisor. The restaurant is hidden in a quiet nook off its main street. It wasn't busy when we arrive and the waiters were friendly. Their menu was in Italian, English, Chinese and Japanese. We had corn soup, Cantonese fried rice, sweet and... read more

Charged me 4 euro for tea and food was really appalling. Dry fried duck, dry steamed rice, gluey soup and terrible service. Globally the worst I have had. Life is too short to eat this badly and pay this much.

I read a lot of reviews and decided on Mr Chow. It is in central Rome, easy to get to. The food was good, fast and friendly service, moderate cost. Enjoyed it and recommend it.

Visited this restaurant after reading reviews while in Rome as fancied a break from Italian food. Service was good, but the food was average, but nothing to rave about. We eat a lot of chinese food, particularly Cantonese chinese at home and have excellent chinese restaurant in our area at home in west London. This was not as good as... More

Mr Chow's is indeed a welcome change from the ubiquitous Italian food. The dishes were well prepared and tasty and the service was excellent. Every dish was freshly prepared and tasty. We will eat there again!

Stayed in Rome for six days and went here twice. A little difficult to find at the end of a closed street. Rather typical Chinese place, very quick service, good food, good price. Recommended.

Mr. Chow is run by Taiwanese people. You can even drink Gaoliang after your meal! They serve honest Cantonese food made with fresh ingredients. In a city with many bad Chinese restaurants, Mr. Chow's is a godsend. The service is attentive and friendly. People who claim that the prices are too high are not considering the increased overhead of making... More

This place was so overpriced. There's a far better Chinese just up the road by the termini, next to the round car park. This just isn't worth the extortionate prices they charge.

Having read the reviews before going out for dinner, Mr Chow exceeded my expectations. We turned up without a reservation and they accommodated us within minutes. We had some soup, steamed dim dums, shrimp chow mein and two different chicken dishes for dinner, and contrary to some of the reviews the food had flavour and was tasty, and the portions... More
