Good Ethiopian food.

A great place with a friendly owner. The meat dishes were great. Always loved the spices that go into it. The owner brought us extra injera when we ran out of it. The portions are huge and so be ready to stuff yourself.

Actually visited the place two times in April 2015 both for dinner. Good tibs, kitfo and St.Giorgis.

This is the first time we tried Ethiopian food. The food contains a lot of different spices, we ate the vegetarian dish and it was delicious. The experience was fun because you eat with your hands and it creates a kind of a game and laughs. After the meal the fingers remain yellow for a few days :) Prices are... More

First time I try Ethiopian food and I was not disappointed. My boyfriend and I did not have a reservation but they gave us a table in the normal restaurant area. If you want to experience the typical atmosphere in the African dining room you need to book. The staff was very welcoming and they gave us a free glass... More

A bit out of the main touristic spots of Rome, the restaurant is located in some residential area, in a recent standard building. Once you enter, you are seated in a non standard restaurant, on a sofa with a small low table. This anounces some shared dishes that you preferably eat with your fingers. I've been there on a business... More

Corno d'Africa is a nice first step towards "Abyssinia" cooking. I have been living in Addis for a couple of years and it's obvious I noted a difference, notably the injera, always disappointing in Europe (they cannot get the right cereal here!). Less spicy than the original cooking, but good and definitely more adapted to "farendji" mouth ;-)!! Shiro was... More

This restaurant has a great ambience and a wonderful choice of delicious Ethiopian dishes. Both myself and my boyfriend highly recommend Corno d'Africa.

The Eritrean owner Michael and his wife ensure friendly service and good food. I've been there many times with young children and friends, and we've found it to be very family friendly. There are two eating areas - the main dining area is very nicely decorated. My family and I usually eat in the second eating area which has more... More

Since I live two blocks away, I often do take-out and occasionally eat at the restaurant. The food is fantastic and always satisfies my urges for ethnic food in Rome. I recommend the Zighini, Mincet Abish and Ceci. The traditional dining room creates a nice atmosphere for eating together and the service is wonderful - always very welcoming and generous.... More
