A bit out of the main touristic spots of Rome, the restaurant is located in some residential area, in a recent standard building. Once you enter, you are seated in a non standard restaurant, on a sofa with a small low table. This anounces some shared dishes that you preferably eat with your fingers. I've been there on a business... More

Corno d'Africa is a nice first step towards "Abyssinia" cooking. I have been living in Addis for a couple of years and it's obvious I noted a difference, notably the injera, always disappointing in Europe (they cannot get the right cereal here!). This restaurant has a great ambience and a wonderful choice of delicious Ethiopian dishes. Both myself and my boyfriend highly recommend Corno d'Africa.

Since I live two blocks away, I often do take-out and occasionally eat at the restaurant. The food is fantastic and always satisfies my urges for ethnic food in Rome. I recommend the Zighini, Mincet Abish and Ceci. The traditional dining room creates a nice atmosphere for eating together and the service is wonderful - always very welcoming and generous.... More

After trying various Ethiopian/eritreans restaurants in Rome, Corno D'africa is the only one that my husband and I go back regularly. The quality of the food is wonderful and most important of all, Fresh food all the time. While trying various Ethiopian/eritreans restaurants, we always had stomach problems the day after but with the Corno D'Africa you are ready to... More
