Tourist area but non-tourist ripoff restaurant. Enjoyed our pastas here and the service is fantastic. You need reservations but we were lucky to find a table. We had the gnocchi four cheeses and also the pasta all'amatriciana. Both fantastic and not pricey at all. Skip all other touristy ripoffs around and come here. Make sure you make a reservation!

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local person. I lived in Rome for 2 years so I know the scene pretty well. The reviews don't do this place justice! It is wonderful. It's the type of restaurant that you go back to night after night, which I did after my first of many visits. The food is traditional,... More

A very popular (book reservations before going) and high quality restaurant with some very very good dishes! The wait staff are brisk as per a lot of Trattoria's and most meals (1st and 2nd plates) will come out to €35 per person and you will leave gratified. The restaurant is just slightly let down by the waiting times for food....then... More

We were in an apartment above this restaurant which was always busy on the last night of our stay we chose to visit and it turned out to be a very good choice. The menu was not the run of the mill Roman dining so the different made it more interesting for us it's not too expensive and although the... More

Not far from Piazza Navona is this rather good restaurant. Don't be fooled by ordinariness of the décor, or the rather abrupt service (without a smile) the food here is really very good with excellent pasta. The menu is brief but that's ok as it makes it easier to choose. Yes, there is a wait, but everything is freshly cooked... More

The restaurant is actually nothing special, cute inside, sweet sittings outside. The pasta is really good, the service actually not friendly but somehow lovely. The time until the food arrives is for Italian standard ok. But for Northern Europeans maybe a bit long and for Americans well... Don't go there when you are starving ;). Anyhow take some time for... Just a few minutes walk from the famous Roman fashion street Via dei Condotti, this restaurant still feels very much off the beaten path. The dishes are very well priced and include several very typical Roman dishes which are a must to try. Would definitely return!!

This family run restaurant, is in the heart of the city, but off the "tourist trap" paths. Tucked away off Piazza di San Lorenzo, this charming little italian restaurant, only serves food to whats in season. If you're looking for pizza, then this isn't for you. They have an amazing pasta selection and the wine list is more like a... More

We have found out about this restaurants whilst browsing the internet, This is a typical Italian restaurant located in the centre of Rome. The restaurant appeared exactly as we have imagined it. Quite basis but with wodnerful cuisine, good choice of wines and modest prices. A special note about pasta with mushrooms and truffles. Despite the fact that it is... More
