We just came across this restaurant as we were shopping and enjoying Rome....and so glad we did. We sat outside and normally don't engage in conversations lightly but both sets of diners that sat next to us were delightful. We learned that this restaurant had been recommended to each and one took a long taxi ride to dine here. The... More

I ate at this restaurant a few years ago with a friend and had a delicious dessert I wanted my husband to try. So we went on a recent trip and although the ricotta tart was still a hit, everything else was bad- the worst meal of a 10 day trip. The waiter was surly (and I speak Italian so... More

Genuine local trattoria in Roma city center. But very expensive for what it was. Ok, the fettucine alla romana (chicken liver and grounded beef in tomato sauce) were Ok. But nothing extraordinary. Our waiter (we were 2 couples) also completely messed up our order bringing dishes we didn't order, or bringing the wrong plate... etc. The wine list is impressive... More

Genuine local trattoria in centre of town. Good food, wine and reasonable prices. Despite a mix up over the time of our booking they fitted us in on a very busy Sat night.

Delicious and abundant. Fabulous wine list and wonderful staff. Ate here with 5 children and 4 adults and we were all very happy with our choice and the selection. Roman pasta dishes like Amatriciana, Carbonara and Pepe e Cacio were delicious and perfectly cooked. Meat and fish delicious too. Hope to return one day!

We (Family and Friends) went to this restaurant because we thought it was a good roman food place and not a tourist trap in the downtown area. Well the service was really slow, the A/C was maybe working though it was hot inside, the food was in modest quantities and recipes were nothing special or at least out of the... More

Tourist area but non-tourist ripoff restaurant. Enjoyed our pastas here and the service is fantastic. You need reservations but we were lucky to find a table. We had the gnocchi four cheeses and also the pasta all'amatriciana. Both fantastic and not pricey at all. Skip all other touristy ripoffs around and come here. Make sure you make a reservation!

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local person. I lived in Rome for 2 years so I know the scene pretty well. The reviews don't do this place justice! It is wonderful. It's the type of restaurant that you go back to night after night, which I did after my first of many visits. The food is traditional,... More

A very popular (book reservations before going) and high quality restaurant with some very very good dishes! The wait staff are brisk as per a lot of Trattoria's and most meals (1st and 2nd plates) will come out to €35 per person and you will leave gratified. The restaurant is just slightly let down by the waiting times for food....then... More

We were in an apartment above this restaurant which was always busy on the last night of our stay we chose to visit and it turned out to be a very good choice. The menu was not the run of the mill Roman dining so the different made it more interesting for us it's not too expensive and although the... More
