Fantastic meal. I ordered the Lasagna, which is a must and had the chocolate mousse for desert. Great for couples and families.

Loved this restaurant. Found this gem on the way to visit the Priscilla Catacombs. The atmosphere is very upscale. They have an antipasto bar at lunch but we chose to order off the menu. Everything was amazing and no one around us was speaking English. If you want to get away from the tourist traps, put this special restaurant on... More

Do not plan to eat prior to 8 PM. We made a 7 PM reservation but were not allowed in until 8. Their on line reservation system does not prevent this. However; what a wonderful meal. I felt the price was reasonable and the service great. Highly recommend. This is outside the Rome city circle so if you are saying... More

This place although not cheap or I suppose by Rome standards also not expensive, however it is good. Good atmosphere and plenty eating which is always a good sign. Staff / service v good and pasta including seafood nice ,fresh and plenty of it. For basic starter and pasta main with couple drinks expect to pay around 30euro + per... More

As a former instructor at the Culinary Institute of America and someone who consults with restaurants and hotels in the US and abroad, we were delighted to find a restaurant in the section of Rome where we were exchanging apartments- the Quartiere Africano next to the Villa Ada. A friend had told us of Mama Angelina, and during our four... More

This trattoria is little bit out of city center but well worth visiting. Its traditional and moderate setting is lovely, tortelloni is a specialty and chicken are from the farm. Prices are very reasonable and service is friendly. In the end, you see clearly why it is enlisted in Gambero Rosso for so many years. Do reserve before going.

The restaurant is out of reach for most of the tourists and that is what makes it special. The service is old fashion good manners, with waiters knowing the menu by heart and able to recommend dish of the day or specialties of the house with real competence. Prices are also good, I would definitely recommend it for fish, strictly... More

This is my second visit to Mamma Angelina and again I have to say that this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. We eat a lot of fish in Malta but I have to say that the fish served at this restaurant is possibly the best I've ever eaten. What makes this restaurant special is... More
