Authentic & value for money.

We dined at at Ristorante Regina on recommendation from our accommodation host. This is a busy, local eatery where we were well looked after from arrival and found the service, food, wine and price to be very good. So good in fact, we went back the next night and were treated in the same manner... read more

This restaurant was very close to our hotel and it offered home made pasta. The noquis and pasta were quite good. Very good prices too.

This restaurant came recommended by a hotel nearby as it was close for guests. We checked the menu and the prices were good. It was clean and busy. The service was quick and not fussy. Unfortunately there was miscommunication (due to quickness of ordering ) and I ended up with just a meat on my dish. Lesson learned. Lasagna was... More

We had a rainy day and the hotel recommend this restaurant . It was very nice . We had lunch. I had pastsa and meatballs . My husband had lasagna and chicken. The meatballs where good . Just not what I am used to eating . They were not made with hamburger . Maybe pork or veal. But I would... More

The waiter seems to be not interested from his job , the bread was not fresh, the spaghetti - a disaster, my steak was awful. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant. The only good point - the prices are reasonable.

For a non pretentious place to eat at a more than reasonable price, this was a very nice place for dinner. Full of locals yes, but that's not a bad thing. Service was good, food was tasty, and location was perfect but that's relative :) enjoy

We had a recommendation from our hotel to go here for dinner and we were not disappointed. Good italian food (no pizza) fast and very friendly service. We enjoyed.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
