We arrived late (10pm) on a Monday night. Our waiter didn't speak a lot of English, but it was a welcomed relief since my jet lagged Italian was sorely lacking. The wine he recommended was excellent (Valpolicella Ripasso). The salad was large with wonderfully fresh, crisp veggies. For November the tomatoes were very flavorable. The pizza margarita with prosciutto was... More

La Sacrestia is a small cozy restaurant which has large portions, and a nice house wine. It is by no means a gourmet spot. Recommended by our hotel, it was empty at 8:00 and full of guests by 9:00 p.m. on a Sunday evening. Many were enjoying pizza. Portions are large and tasty. Good value as prices are quite reasonable.... More

La Sagrestia Ristorante (Via del Seminario, 89 )which is a side street adjacent to the Pantheon, is an unassuming, no nonsense but very attractive restaurant of rare quality and value in our experience. You will have a most enjoyable evening (you need to book if intending to eat after 8pm). My wife and I are English and have visited Rome... More

La Sagrestia (Via del Seminario) was recommended to us by my sister-in-law. We were not disappointed and had an excellent Sunday lunch. We had not reserved a table and as we went early there was no problem. Later the restaurant was completely full as is very popular with the Italians for a family weekend meal. My husband says the pizza... More

Roman-style (paper thin crust) pizza from a wood burning oven. The best part is they are open for lunch (noon), when most other wood burning oven restaurants don't open until evening.

We dined here Nov 2013 after reading reviews and we were not disappointed. Its a bit hard to find although it is very close to the Pantheon. Its a casual place with locals and tourist. Service was very good and food was great. The stuffed zucchini flowers as an appetizer was excellent. All the dishes looked great!

This was, by far, the best meal my fiance and I enjoyed in Rome. We found La Sacrestia by accident on our way to the Pantheon, and stopped for dinner. The ambiance was comfortable and welcoming. They sat us immediately. To start, we ordered the bottle of their house Montepulciano - it was lovely. They served us a basket of... More

My fiancee and I had been walking around on our 3rd and last night in Rome finding the big attractions we hadn't seen yet...spanish steps, trevi fountain (under renovations), pantheon, piazza navona. We took a wrong turn somewhere between trevi fountain and the pantheon, which led us down this small street/alley to get to the pantheon. This is where we... More

My wife and I make pizza and have done so for many years. (see where this is headed?) We went to La Sacrestia for pizza and were very glad we did. We shared with them that we had a wood oven for pizza and presto we taken back into the kitchen and there was a wood fire burring that they... More
