Excellent food lots of locals very good value

Little family run gem of a restaurant just off the Pantheon. Not fancy but full of Italians all having a lovely evening. Food was delicious especially the Penne Arrabiata and incredibly good value (bruschetta was only 1.50 Euro).

Stopped here for lunch as we were looking for Pizza that is wood fired. The dough was handmade as was the sauce, so the Pizza was very good also it's extremely thin crust. Had a salad as well which was good.

Got the recommendation from our hotelier and we were not disappointed. Quiet, clean, with classics on the menu. We ordered the fried Jerusalem artichoke to start...delicious. Pastas are flavorful and service is fast and friendly. We'll be back!

It was us and locals in this touristy area. The fried artichokes, pate and pasta were fantastic. Cannot wait to go back! The waiter worked hard, running fom table to kitchen. It added to the experience in a positive way.

Ate here first night in Rome, looking for quick and easy. Food was fine and well priced. Service was unfortunately quite poor. Waiter misunderstood artichokes as anchovies, so one appetizer was sent back. Our main courses from the primary kitchen came out and then we waited 10 minutes+ for our daughter's pizza to come out. Waiter looked stressed and overloaded.... More

As others retold, we were on our way from the Trevi Fountain to the Pantheon. We were very hungry and saw the restaurant and their menu posted outside (or in a window). Everything looked good so we took a chance. Bingo! The wood fired pizza was great. The service was very good. Great surprise, great value.

We arrived late (10pm) on a Monday night. Our waiter didn't speak a lot of English, but it was a welcomed relief since my jet lagged Italian was sorely lacking. The wine he recommended was excellent (Valpolicella Ripasso). The salad was large with wonderfully fresh, crisp veggies. For November the tomatoes were very flavorable. The pizza margarita with prosciutto was... More

La Sacrestia is a small cozy restaurant which has large portions, and a nice house wine. It is by no means a gourmet spot. Recommended by our hotel, it was empty at 8:00 and full of guests by 9:00 p.m. on a Sunday evening. Many were enjoying pizza. Portions are large and tasty. Good value as prices are quite reasonable.... More
