Highly recommended indeed

This is not the first time we eat here and definitely not the last. Wine list is extensive and reasonably priced, pasta dishes are excellent, fish and seafood are cooked exactly as they're meant to be. Great place.

Life is right in the city center, but it is not like the typical tourist places. A bit more modern, both the decor and the food. Food was great and we found reasonably priced wines too. a pleasant evening all together

We were told about Life by friends who love it. Maybe we chose the wrong dishes. My gnocchi was doughy and quite bland - with artichokes. My husbands lasagna was tastier but not fantastic. Service was friendly. We found it quite expensive for what we got.

Life is this kind of place you dream about when you think of dining in Italy. We ate outside on a quiet, cobblestone street and were delighted with the menu. The Pasta Carbonara with Black Truffles was the best dish I had in Rome. Absolutely perfect! The service was attentive and friendly and the wine list was extensive. Life is... More

I simply found smaller, random restaurants, far nicer than this one which seems to be so heavily recommended. Our own concierge warned us of the same, and yet we ploughed ahead and ate here. The wine list is extensive and decently priced. But the food is more expensive than local restaurants, the portion sizes are smaller and yet only marginally... More

This is a lovely restaurant just off Via del Corso. The menu is interesting and nicely varied, staff friendly and helpful and the food lovely. Would definitely recommend. We were staying in the Hotel Infiniti on the same street so very handy!

Gracious service, fine food, contemporary setting with attention to linens, place settings, fine wine. Relatively reasonable, given its location and quality--and the high cost of dining in Rome.

The place is very trendy in Roma..but the staff is great, the food is very very well prepared. We had veal and fish (catch of the day) together while drinking Italian sparkling white wine ( prosecco) ..we did enjoy being there.

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
