Simple, tasty and great atmosphere

A bit of a bar/lounge that want to be a restaurant and a restaurant that wants to be a bar/lounge. You will distinctly see the 2 trying to merge in, in a cool and trendy ambiance. (music, beautiful people and associated scenery) Modern interior, fusion cuisine, great wine selection, I would... read more

We had a wonderful diner at Duke's. Top service, excellent food and wines. Very friendly and helpful staff. Top atmosphere and top outsçide dining location. A place I should in fact not share with others in order not to risk a full house next time I want to have diner there

A very nice restaurant with a lovely ambience and lots of good looking people. I had fun here with two Italian colleagues, I would never have been without Alessandro booking as it was full on a Wednesday night. The grub is good, the people are cool as only the Italians can be and the ambiance is very nice.

We've been there twice in the last three months. Both times we had the set menu with wine pairings and both times were amazing good. They do a great job of taking international and classic Italian ingredients and creating something new that preserves the best of the past while adding an innovative touch. The service is also first rate. Our... More

I have now come here 4-5 times in the last 2 months, mostly for business dinners, and I must say I am impressed with the overall experience I always have at Duke's. The staff is always polite and helpful, in the choice of both food and wine. The menu is not particularly wide (I would suggest they change periodically), but... More

Great place in Rome to have a drink and/or dinner! If you go for dinner, step-in in advance and try the superb Spritz or Spritz Royal: you will appreciate it! The atmosphere is cool and the selection of food and beverage very, very good. People, music, staff...it seems to be in New York!

I didn't really enjoy the whole experience. We were rushed through the whole meal with average results. Very unexciting and predictable food, specially considering that a restaurant pretending to offer an international menu in a place like Rome where local food is one of the best (or probably the best) in the world: trying to offer something different than the... A Californian fusion restaurant. Really nice atmosphere and the outside seating area is really nice. Staff are good and by 10pm the restaurant is full of locals creating a really good vibe. My tempura veggie starter was lovely. Really light batter that wasn't fatty at all. I chose Sushi for my main course. This was really good. Dessert - blueberry... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighborhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavor of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
