This is like the Roman anti-tourist restaurant: no pizzas, no spaghetti with meatballs, organic and they identify where their ingredients come from. It's a foodie hangout. It set a nice tone when they were making fresh pasta by the front door on our way in at lunch. It worked for a family but our kids are adventurous eaters.

This is a nice, cozy little restaurant, with nice decor, a friendly staff, and a menu with both standard and more interesting options, including excellent vegetarian dishes and great desserts, as well as an extensive wine list.

You expect to find tourist rip-off places around any of Rome's famous piazzas, but Ditirambo off Piazza Campo d' Fiori is a real find. Very pleasant interior, nice menu that the staff are happy to vary, such as customising the anti-pasta. Wine very reasonably priced, staff good-humoured, helpful and multi-lingual. Been there twice and will return.

Ditirambo is a very Roman neighborhood restaurant. Most of the cliental were locals. Small place reminds me its like in New York; that is, small place friendly place with very good food, unpretentious atmosphere, and great value. Staff was efficient and informative. Pasta dishes were excellent. Go to Ditirambo to get a feel of what Rome is like to the... More

I've been here a couple of times, different years. It is always busy with locals and with tourists from all over the world. The restaurant is charming (though not fancy), tables kind of close together. The service is excellent. I had very good meals here. The food is not old-school or tourist Italian/Roman, more of an inventive take on some things,... More

The meal here It wasnt the best one we had in Rome, but its definitely worth checking out if you are in Rome for 3 or more days. We had the pasta with shrimp to start, the shrimp was over cooked and not very tasty. But the main course I had was pretty good, it was a roast pork dish.... More

My second trip to Ditirambo - but the first for my friend on this occasion. It's a bit tricky to find, but easy on a second trip of course. We arrived late (again) but once again they were charming and efficient when we arrived and our table was waiting. Service was swift and friendly. We pushed the boat out and... More

Really good food. Not the typical tourist menu. I had a group of 5 people we all had different dishes and they were all excellent. Attention to detail to the food is great. Our waiter was not great. Short guy with a beard and a pony tail was condescending. We are American but have been to Italy many times...actually speak... More

It is not a mystery that Italy offers the best food in the world and im not exaggerating! However, it is also true that in tourist areas, Italy is renowned for offering some very poor quality food purely because they know that tourists...well they will eat just about anything simply because they are in Italy. Ditirambo is not one of... More

Excellent little restaurant very close to the Campo De' Fiori. The food is much better here than at any of the restaurants in the nearby square. We stopped in for an early dinner one evening and sat in the small outdoor seating section. Service was good and friendly. Food was excellent, some of the best we had during our 9-night... More
