Great Food

This restaurant is very affordable and authentic. I visited with a friend for dinner based on a recommendation, and it was a welcome diversion from the usual tourist traps. I had the beef tartare and a pasta dish. Both were delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I would definitely return... read more

Off charming Campo Di Fiori, this restaurant stands out for taking a more modern twist on traditional dishes. One of the best restaurants in Rome.

This is by far the best food I have ever had in Rome, and what's more in a delightful atmosphere and with excellent service. We went for pasta with a rabbit sauce, but thought we might have a shared starter. We chose octopus, and didn't regret it. The amount w just right for two. Served with olive and touch of... More

We went to Ditirambo on the suggestion of one of the desk managers of our hotel. We were having such good restaurant meals that he recommended that we were quite confident; he was right again. We ate here twice and were delighted with the food, ambiance, and mostly the service, which was both attentive and efficient. The first night, we... More

Everything about our dining experience at Ditirambo was AbFab -- from the warm and relaxed greeting at the door, to our waiter's impeccable service and recommendations for wine, to the fresh, well-prepared food beautifully presented. We enjoyed sitting among serious diners speaking mostly Italian, with a few French conversations thrown into the mix. An unexpected visual highlight was the collection... More

I walk by this restaurant everyday on my way to language school so decided to walk in without a reservation with my husband. We were seated right away and was approached by a server within less than a minute. The menu was well balanced with salads, first and second courses, and appetizers. No overwhelming numbers of choices and all dishes... More

Had three great days in Rome eating out, price seems to have no baring on what you receive or the quality of the food. This was by far the best meal I had and also the cheapest. The service was excellent, the food and presentation very good and I had an excellent 2012 Chianti. I am not a desert person... More

We booked a table to celebrate my wife's birthday the next night. When we turned up, the female staff who took our booking looked confused. My wife reminded her that we were there physically to book a table the previous night. She conversed with a male staff (who turned up to be the owner later) and was told to get... More

Ditirambo is quite simply a fantastic restaurant. The food was delicious, and offered plenty of vegetarian options for my husband and I to enjoy. Prices were very reasonable for central Rome, and the house wine is the nicest I've ever tasted! Wait staff are all attentive without being intrusive. Would recommend to anyone, and I'll certainly be going back when... More
