Having had mixed success at finding restaurants we enjoyed in Rome, we had two lovely meals at Ditirambo. Two because after eating there at the beginning of our trip we decided to return again for our last dinner. I suppose that says how good we thought it was! On the first visit we got lost and one of the members... More

We had a fun evening at this place. The food was good and our server was very pleasant. We drank house wine which was fine and enjoyed ourselves. We will go back when we are in Rome.

I booked here because it had been recommended by local friends. The quality of the food was good (not outstanding, but good). The service, however, was quite bad. It took them more than 45 mins to bring our appetizers and then 45 mins more to bring our main dishes. They got one of the orders wrong (despite we speak Italian)... More

We visited Ditirambo a few nights ago after seeing lots of recommendations online. The restaurant treads the line between fine dining and traditional 'rustic' fare really well. The food and service were very good. The atmosphere is largely pleasant - although there was a party of loud American teenagers next to us when we visited (think the kids from the... More

I read some good reviews on the Web and they were all true. This is a typical Italian restaurant where one can taste a delicious dinner. most of the dishes we had. were Cisilian cuisine. Great choise. The service was pleasant and gentle and the food came on time . Im sure that to my next visit in Rome Ditirambo... More

You could easily walk right past the simple entrance to Ditirambo. Even when you enter the modest, dark, low-ceilinged restaurant you may think it is nothing special, but once you've settled in with a reasonably priced glass of red wine, tasted the appetizer and talked with the staff you know you've found a place you could come back to and... This lovely restaurant does not need it's staff to goad you in (like the others) as there's usually a queue of people that haven't booked still trying to get in. The food itself is really homely and rustic inc veggie starters like aubergine balls and white courgette tower (things) that sound simple but are so heavenly. Also if you are... More

Booked a table for a Friday at 8pm for my wife's birthday based on reviews here. When we arrived although it was busy the atmosphere was very subdued, no background music and customers were mainly tourists and tables are set very close together - I was afraid that Tripadviser had let me down. However, we thought we'd stick it out... More

What a lovely little eating house where the food is good and the service is charming. Having become a true disciple of TripAdvisor, I now use it whenever I want to book a good restaurant. Three weeks ago in Istanbul, I was not disappointment. Neither was in the Eternal City, which boasts of over 8,000 establishments. Situated in the centre... More

The food was brilliant. The Octopus is the best I've ever tried, and the pastas were brilliant. If I'm being honest the main course (pork belly) was the least good part of the meal, and was still very tasty. We couldn't handle dessert we were so full, but it looked divine. Very cheery staff and a nice ambiance as well
