Tranquil Oasis on a Hot Afternoon

I went here with my boyfriend and we were overwhelmed by the menu (in a good way!) there was so much that I wanted to try. I opted for the courgette with marinera and cheese and for my main the Cacio Pepe whilst my boyfriend got the fondue starter which was my favourite. There was a great ambience great service... More

Culinary excellence and perfect service near the Campo De Fiori. Everything was great. Italian with a somewhat modern interpretation.

After we've visited Rome years before, we still remembered the delicious zabaione (or sabayon) at this restaurant. So we came back and it tasted as good as we thought or even better! Unfortunately the antipasti and main course were not spectacular, but that dessert made up for it. We came back for more a day later, but unfortunately it was... More

Web site said open at 7pm on Monday but was actually 7 30pm. Slight hiccup before we arrived as my son was told the pushchair for the baby had to be folded out of the way. Not a good idea for the baby to sleep. However when my husband spoke to the owner he said no problem we could sit... More

This was probably the best meal that my wife and I had in Rome. Unfortunately, since the restaurant was so packed (a good sign!), we were unable to get a table outside. But our experience was good! The service was a bit slow, but we were vacationing in Italy, so we were never really in a rush. The filo dough... More

This Place id so worth traveling to, even from further away. Great quality raw materials and super well done honest simple food. Service was friendly and they are very efficient. Wine list quite modest.

Not for me, but for my wife, and dinner at Ditirambo is a must. tranquil yet surrounded by parades of tourists trekking between Navona and Campo, the food is great and creative. Friendly service. Reasonably priced wines. Cacio e Pepe perfectly prepared. Fresh home made pasta and desserts. Roast baby pig. Just perfect. Authentic.

On our most recent visit to Rome, we ended up going back three times for the great food and wonderful service. Be sure to take advantage of the proprierter's knowledgability and great recommendations on wines and grappa to go with your meal. It's a very good value for the quality as well.

Although the food was good, the fifty minute wait for our main course was not acceptable,I have been to this restaurant several times & have never had this problem.Prices are very fair and the wine list is fine.
