We booked the table in advance - that was a good idea. When we arrived we were the first guests but 5 minutes later the restaurant was full. It is a very popular place, I believe. We ordered some octopus thing from the menu but they came back a minute later that the octopus was out which was a... read more

We have been fortunate enough to have dined at Ditirambo on (now) 4 occasions and never been disappointed. It is said that you should definitely have a reservation but we got lucky yesterday and were able to be seated as walk-ins. These comments are a culmination of the visits we have had. Spring '16 - my wife had an incredible... More

This little restaurant in campo di fiori area is a little gem - for a city that is overrun by mediocre pizzarias, ditirambo is as authentic as it can be given its location - the atmosphere is typically italian & mad magga is the hostess with the mostest - the food was deliciouso - try the vegetarian tasting starter -... This place was recommended by our hotel as a typical local place without tourists. Well, after 11pm there actually was one Italian couple mingling with the rest of us. And were served pasta twice the size ours was. And here comes the problem: for the first time in many years of Rome trips we did not mind. At all. Our... More

Ditirambo was another place on our list. And are we ever happy we went...well actually went twice, the first time for lunch and the second time for dinner the night before we left Rome for home. The space is so cozy and the service we received was outstanding to say the least! We were made to feel like old friends.... More

The staff is absolutely well prepared and efficient. Small place but very cozy. Top gastronomic techniques. Excellent wine options, open bottle included.

Everything is absolutely excellent in this restaurant: Carefully prepared and presented food (including hand made pasta and bread and all carefully sourced genuine ingredients), wines (including some rare surprises), service and ambience. A rea MUST if you visit Rome and you want to have a truly gourmet experience! Don't forget to book as it is a small place. Per me... More

We had an amazing dinner in this restuarant. The staff was great and the service was superb. The dishes were very local and special. We tried the lentils soup, pasta and lamb and all three dishes were amazing. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is great.

Not your traditional Italian food. They Charge extra for bread, which we hadn't been anywhere else in Rome. Small meals and very expensive.
