Loved it!

We'd had a very bust day flying to Rome, and we already had Ditirambo booked so we walked from our hotel near the Spanish Steps over to Campo di Fiori. I wasn't sure what to expect but both the food and ambience were excellent. I really enjoyed my meal, it made our first day in Rome perfect and set... read more

We booked a table to celebrate my wife's birthday the next night. When we turned up, the female staff who took our booking looked confused. My wife reminded her that we were there physically to book a table the previous night. She conversed with a male staff (who turned up to be the owner later) and was told to get... More

Ditirambo is quite simply a fantastic restaurant. The food was delicious, and offered plenty of vegetarian options for my husband and I to enjoy. Prices were very reasonable for central Rome, and the house wine is the nicest I've ever tasted! Wait staff are all attentive without being intrusive. Would recommend to anyone, and I'll certainly be going back when... More

Visiting Roma for the rugby with friends - my first trip to this lovely city so we had booked Ditirambo on the recommendation of friends who had visited in 2014. Absolutely first class meal on Friday 20th March with excellent personal attention from Walid with an exploration of the menu and wine list. And yes so good we returned on... More

We found this by accident, not having read any of the previous reviews. We hadn't booked and they had to move some tables around to fit us in. Its a small restaurant and quickly filled up. It seemed as popular with locals as with tourists, which is generally a good sign. The food was definitely not your usual tourist fare... More

We had a great dinner in the restaurant: it was fool but nevertheless we were served very fast, friendly and attentively, and with lightness. The quality of food was at the highest level from appetizer up to dessert paired with an excellent wine. They really have remarkable wine list.

We found this restaurant off the Campo di fiore on our first night in Rome. Within about half an hour we had our search criteria down to anything that does not have artificial flames, a laminated menu out front and a hawker who tries to grab you to get you to come in. The food was good, the atmosphere perfectly... More

We booked this on line for our first night in rome based on the Guardian rating it as one of the top 10 in rome. We were not disappointed. I had the special of artichoke strudel. A mixture of artichoke herb and a little cheese wrapped in light puff pastry. Totally new idea to me and very good. I followed... More

Great service to match the fantastic food. They have an excellent wine list and can help you to find the perfect wine or sparkling option. I had the braised beef cheek which melted in my mouth never to be forgotten. Would certainly return and recommend.
