Great family lunch near to lots of attractions

This restaurant is located very close to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, I would highly recommend that you step a little off the beaten track and into the pleasant little piazza where it is located. I had been to La Focaccia before and introduced my friend to it when we spent 3 days in Rome in April. We ended up having dinner here every night. The prices are still reasonable and you get plenty of food for the euro. I ordered bruschetta; I got 3 huge pieces with three different toppings. My friend said the... More

Nice friendly restaurant ideal for our family lunch. Staff were very friendly and the pizza was the best in Rome, according to one of our boys. The renovations/scaffolding to the outside of the building are a little off putting, but only a minor issue.

We went here on recommendation from our guidebook, however it was quite disappointing and by some measure the worst meal in Rome. The bruschetta was soggy, the mozzarella had an unusual texture and didn't taste right, and the pizza was also soggy in the middle. We've tasted much better versions of all these at a standard Italian restaurant back in... More

Got to experience this restaurant during a food tour. Made our own pizza and wow, it was the best. The staff were superb. Would recommend highly!

The pizza was great, the crust was the best we have had. Every pasta dish was excellent. We came here twice; it was that good. I never go to the same place twice when there are so many restaurants, but you are not guaranteed a good meal just because you are in Rome. This place is frequented by locals and... More

My wife and I stumbled into La Focaccia on our last night in Rome looking for a place to sit and eat close to our hotel at Piazza Navona. The exterior of the building was undergoing some renovation so it did't look the greatest, but the menu looked good and the price was right. We ordered the bruschetta as an... More

Looking at its small interior and the main space being on the basement this 4pts might be perceived as a generous grade but while talking about Rome and especially about the all-narrow-street Piazza Navona area, you will not have spacious halls at all. So, with respect to the standards of the immediate environs, its physical deficiencies lose their importance as... More
