We had the opportunity to have a pizza at La Focaccia not long ago, during a trip to Rome. The place is really nice located near a lovely square (cannot recall the name) and the tables outside were really attractive. Service was really nice and helpful and we got to eat a large and really tasty pizza and an appetizer... More

We were looking for pizza and this seemed to be a quiet place without much business. Boy, were we wrong! Come on in! The party is downstairs! It was fabulous! Appetizers and Pizza were tasty and not too pricey. Of course the house wine made it a meal! We will be back to this place.

My husband and I stumbled upon this fabulous restaurant when we couldn't find the guidebook-reviewed restaurant we'd intended to try. Lucky us! The first thing we noticed was that, despite being quite close to the touristy area of Piazza Navonne, La Focaccia's tables were filled with people speaking Italian. In other words, this is a restaurant frequented by people who... More

The food might be OK but the service was horrible. When we took a seat, the owner wagged his finger dismissively at us and walked away. When asked what he meant, the answer was go eat at the other restaurant, we are closed while the waiter was grinning at the show the owner was giving whilst serving food to other... More

if you judge the place by its looks you will miss out on a simple but great meal. We had a great Bucatini all'Amatriciana and a very tasty Margarita pizza with buffalo mozzarella. For dessert, we kept it simple with a creamy Tiramisu. Great value too. Will definitely return on our next visit to Rome.

A recommendation form a staff member at our hotel, in a little back street that was quiet. We sat outside but there is a huge downstairs dining room which on our second visit was packed. The food was good and not expensive, my husband loved the large beer which was so big it was difficult to lift.

The perfect spot for a quiet pizza in the sun. The pizza was good, and Alessandro our host was nothing but welcoming and kept us entertained. Will definitely be making a return trip before I depart rome.

While wondering the back streets of Rome my wife was tired and wanted a sit down I was drawn to the flames from the traditional pizza oven visable through the door of La Focaccia. We sat down out side and was greated by a very friendly guy who obviously has a passion for the place. He recomended a large beer... More

Cocky and downright rude waiter who loves himself as much as we hated the food. This has to be the worst dining experience we've ever had in Italy.

Just had to try this place. It looked like mostly locals dining. Understandably, the food was exceptional. The octopus salad was great. It is located close to the entrance of the Chiostro del Bramante, so the scenery is wonderful if dining outside.
