Accompanied by a few local friends, who have recommended it as one of the historic restaurants in Rome as a "never wrong restaurant", we could see that they were right. Great classic Roman cuisine, as well as typical excellent typical Italian cuisine. I took a great seafood risotto, very well mixed and with fresh fish, and a second grilled fish,... More

We found this resturant the first night of our stay in Rome. We were tired and hungry and grateful to have found a resturant near to our hotel. The first night the food was great, and we ate the bread that was delivered with gusto. We got charged for the bread - that's ok - we ate it - so... More

I literally dream about that Veal. We walked here from our hotel and found it reasonably priced and delicious. I highly recommend it!

I really loved that the owner personally greeted each customer. I had tartar which was very good but would recommend cleaning the fish parts out first. Overall it was really good and this dish was expensive but you can order very good less expensive meals. Off the beaten path in the Parioli area.

We've eaten at a number of restaurants in the Via Veneto area the last few days. Have to say, while the La Scala vibe was promising , the food was quite bland and the service ...unexciting. Not good value for money

Lovely food although took a little longer than usual for service, luckily we weren't starving! Staff were very friendly.

We ate here on our final day in Rome. It was near our hotel and we ate outside sharing a pizza and what was the best bruschetta I have eaten. The service was efficient and friendly. We also enjoyed dessert. Our disappointment is that we did not eat here sooner. There are countless small and charming restaurants in this neighborhood,... More

I hope I got the right place, there are a few 'Scala's on here. It was near Barberini tube station in a very expensive part of town popular with 5* tourists and wealthy locals, but quite rustic inside. This was recommended to me by a local who goes there with a famous Italian movie star, so I knew it would... More

I've eaten here several times & found it OK, but my most recent mea nwas a disaster. The "lamb" was tough, fatty & still contained glands which should've been removed in peparation. When sending it back after 1 mouthful, nobody could care less.A real chef or maitre de would have enquired what the problem was, but there was an air... More

We are vegetarians and we were able to get good food here. The prices were very reasonable too! It was a little hard to find the first time around but definitely worth it for the price and food.
