Ate lunch here after visiting the coliseum. Service, food, atmosphere, and value all very good. The chocolate torte is outstanding.

Good and genuine Italian food. Friendly staff. This restaurant is very used by locals and is normally full. Reservation in advance is highly advisable. Don’t miss it!

This is a what I would call typical italian restaurant, with classical dishes, very well chosen. For main we had the carbonara and the pesto (very good but just a little saltier than we'd like, especially the carbonara) but the dish that really impressed us was the bacon and balsamic bruschetta. I know that it sounds really simple but it... More

I highly recommend this restaurant for those searching for authentic Italian cuisine in a non-touristy environment. It's on a quiet beautiful side street in a non-touristy area of Rome (Monti). It's is family run and superb. I dine here almost every day when I'm in Rome on business. Also vegetarian friendly, which was important for my guests.

My girlfriend and I researched TripAdvisor for a top place to eat on our last night in Rome. We wanted 'authentic' which is actually hard to come by in the touristy centre of Rome. We found the more you seeked pizza the more the establishment was tailored for solely tourism which is not to say that is a bad thing... More

Aftet doing some research on great trattoria's in Rome this place just happened to be a stones throw away from our hotel. However, after eating there I would definitely travel there to have some of their amazong ravoli again. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food is very reasonably priced. A true gem among all of the tourist... More

We lucked out and found we were staying just around the corner from this lovely little restaurant. We were also very lucky to get there at 7:30 when they opened; we got of one of two tables which weren't reserved. So I echo others' comments about the wisdom of getting a reservation. It's a small restaurant run by a family,... More

We were lucky enough to be staying around the corner from this restaurant and ended up eating here twice during our stay in Rome. Lovely little place, always full but with excellent and very friendly service. We ordered from the specials menu each time and couldn't stop thinking about the pasta afterwards, particularly the veal ragu with black truffle! The... More

We were welcomed like family to this little gem near the forum. Service was over the top. Food very very good. Server suggested preparations not on menu based on other items we had ordered. Restaurant lively. It was the perfect last dinner in Italy
