Loved it

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel for lunch as it was just around the corner and we were staying during the heatwave! It seemed tiny from the outside up the cobbled side street but it was busy for lunch and we were lucky to get a table. It's round the corner from the forum and... read more

We have waited that this place opens after summer holidays, then tuesday was a day off. We have finally book at wednesday, table for two. Service was very professional, our waiter was speaking english really good (maybe because he was Ukrainian). Food in this place during lunch time is all about cooking cream, which actually "kills" the dish every time.... More

Just a stones throw from the Colleseum . This is a classic family run Italian restaurant ( not a tourist restaurant ) Fantastic fresh food at its very best . All our dishes were delicious and our vegetable side dishes exquisite including the Egg plant Scillian style . The atmosphere is buzzing and the waiters informative and friendly Highly recommend... We sought out this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews and its location. As the name implies it is near the Forum, but it is not a touristy restaurant. People without reservations line up at 7:30 hoping to get a table.90% of them are told come back at 10 and then maybe. Service is efficient and can be a little... More

Basic and average...disappointing to be honest...I have had better Italian food in England. Main course was so average and dessert was a very basic tiramisu. Would not go back.

We were recommended this restaurant by our tour guide who told us it's a favourite with the locals. We went there in the day to book a table. The owner seemed very unfriendly and grumpy telling us there won't be a table until quite late. We were happy with a late booking...I think he was put off by the fact we... More

Absolutely amazing meal from start to finish. The burrata ravlioli with pesto was delicious, as was the meat ravioli with legumes and truffle. After an incredible dinner, the best part was the vanilla soufflé with melted chocolate and ice cream - unreal! Must get this desert or you are seriously missing out. The service was also great! Highly recommend this... More

Our hotel arranged dinner for us at this lovely small restaurant. It was quite hard to find, but when we did, wow! Not only was service professional, but also friendly. The food was excellent. lemon pasta, personal favorite, was terrific. All the food was carefully crafted and served. Excellent recommendations on reasonable and delicious wines. Wanted to return later in... More

A major subscription travel service recommend this restaurant as a must in Rome. We are foodies and actually are white table cloth restaurant investors so we are not unreasonable in our expectations. We were delivered the wrong first course of pasta three times before they got it right. They failed to bring a side dish we ordered then charged us... More

This restaurant was a blessing in a very very hot day in August! We were searching for something outside the mainstream and were hoping to find something where local come to....and there it was...just some minutes away from the Collosseum. Perfect food! great service and many locals....we were lucky to find this place. Thanks!
