A fantastic time here because of the wine selection and prices. Went on a tour with Walks of Italy and had the best wines here.

We stopped here during later afternoon for a drink and meat plate. We had heard good things about this place so wanted to try it out. We were not disappointed with food and wine. We ordered 6 meat platter which was delicious and the free bread was fresh and Hearty. Wine paired well with meats. Table location fantastic - outside... More

I had not eaten here for some years and it was a pleasant return. The restaurant is always packed and you cannot book ahead and the tables are very cramped, which are its defects, but you can live with these of course. The food consists mainly of cold cuts of hams and meat, a great selection of cheeses and pates,... More

after the obligatory trip to Trevi Fountain, we wandered in the rain towards the river when my wife decided we needed a glass of wine and this place smelled good! we were greeted by a semi surly waiter who probably thought, justifiably, that another ugly American couple was coming in. But he turned out to be great, and the food... More

The food was delicious, wine even better with great variety of choice, the service was perfect and the place round it all. Excellent choice, specially sitting outside

Cul de Sac is my premier destination whenever I get back to Rome. Nearby Piazza Navonna don't ever visit Rome without at least two or three stops at Cul de Sac. If you have to wait for a table don't walk away, you'll miss out on the Best Vino and food in Rome!

We were here 8 years ago to the day to celebrate our daughter's birthday so when we returned to Rome it was a must visit. It hasn't changed at all. We sat outside at the same table and got the same great food and service. Of course, as a wine bar we were recommended wine that turned out to be... More

Felt simply lucky when discovered this place. Loved the atmosphere, loved the food: simple, but flavorful. Still nostalgic about their bread.

My wife and I live in Rome (I'm American, she's Sicilian) and we go here often. They have some good first courses, a great wine selection, and a few notable desserts (the crostata d'arancia comes to mind). But the reason to go here is for the selection of regional meats and cheeses. For me this is a perfect outdoor lunch--add... More

Cul de Sac are my no. 1 choise for lunch whenever I'm in Rome. During our 3 days trip we had lunch here twice. The plate with a selection of italian ham, salami, pate and cheese together with the most fantastic bread and oliveoil is like haven. Together with the very taste Chianti we had, this meals was superb. The... More
