Delicious and well priced!

We typed 'best pizza in Rome' into google and this was one of the results... We can't say we've tastes every pizza in Rome but this place must surely rank towards the top :-) Easy decor, nothing fan but good service and delicious food. Highly recommend a trip to this place.

We visited on our first night in Rome. It was a bit of a trek from where we were staying (by the colloseum) but it was well worth it. The pizza and calzone were great and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

Visited every time ever been in Rome. Pizzas (especially capricciosa) are magnificent. Homemade vine is delicious too. Try also rigatoni alla carbonara as primi piatti and prosciutto crudo di parma e bufala as sfizi. Favorite place to eat.

I visited this restaurant under suggestion of some friends that live in Rome. We all had the full works three courses! All the waitresses that dealt with our table spoke English and were all very polite. I had an artisan beer to go with my mixed fried starter which consisted of suppli potato crocket and mini calZone pizzas! Delicious. As... More

It's now tradition to go here when we visit Rome. We have been here for 5th time now and it still have the same atmosphere. Now tourists started to discover here that they have English menu also. A family restaurant that you can have really local foods and best pizza in Rome.

By far the best pizza in Rome. Don't go there expecting thin-crusted Roman pizza, that's not what they serve. Theirs is a thicker crust but it's so incredibly light & airy. I've been a regular for years now and have never been disappointed: appetizers, pizzas, pasta, desserts are always amazing and the service is exceptional. It's usually pretty busy so... More

This Pizzeria is definitely over-rated and the quality of the pizza is not what I expected. I ordered my pizza and it was undercook and tasteless, my friend ordered a mix of grilled meat, the chicken was not of good quality and the quantity for 18 euro was miserable. The price is very expensive for a pizzeria and the service... More

We really loved this place. Fantastic waitress brought us some special bruschetta and my kids loved it. Great pizzas and a fantastic popular local atmosphere. Very out of the way but worth the trek.

Would you like to be a real Italian for one night? Then try this place! Choose the simpliest pizza with ricotta and buffala! Get lost in tasting it ;) and enjoy your time! Fantastic! Awesome experience. And don´t forget to book a nice table in advance, otherwise you have to wait.

After a long day of seeing the sights this was a much appreciated meal. It's nothing special in terms of decor. The food however is tasty and the service prompt and helpful. Seemed more real the the tourist traps more central to trastevere as most people seemed local and we were the only ones who there who spoke English as... More

Staying in Monteverde

Neighborhood Profile
Monteverde
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighborhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centerpiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the center to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.
