Spaghettilicious!

We've never seen so many international sauce options for spaghetti! Pages and pages, therefore we settled for a trio selection. Tasty and filling, a fun place to visit and boast that you've visited :) House wine was reasonably good too... tucked away in a Roman street.

We were sent there by a tour guide and went back again and again.. A huge variety of pizza and pasta. We enjoyed everything we ate. A word of caution - due to the large menu read carefully what you order. People next to us did not do so and did not get what they expected..

Can't believe this is rated 2000 something here. The location was quite shady but my god! Never seen so many pasta options before! About 3 pages worth of spaghetti varieties. They even had spaghettis with beer...seriously. Reason why I haven't given this place a full rating is since it is quite difficult to find, about 25 mins walk from the... More

OMG! How many options! It's so difficult to choose between them as there are so many! Loved the food in there and didnt find the bill expensive, 42 euros including tip for 2 mains and 3 beers. Would def. recommend it for any ocassion

I loved the pasta dishes in this restaurant. It's small and not touristy even though it's very close to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. Seems a bit like a "hole in the wall" but the prices are reasonable and the food was wonderful. I recommend the house white wine as well. I went with a friend of mine and... More

After 3 pasta meals in various locations around Rome, I am still in search for the perfect one. Having said that, this was certainly the best of the three so far, that is why I did not bother writing about the first two. Went in a group and we tried quite a few pasta dishes, all well presented. I had... More

This restaurant, close to the Trevi Fountain, was recommended to us by our New Rome Free Tour guide as somewhere the locals eat with authentic and varied spaghetti selection. I was a little dubious as I tend to think that guides are always in it for the commission, but this time I was mistaken. With what seems to be a... More

I found L'Archetto about twenty years ago when I was desperate for good Italian food. I was with two friends. I found good Italian food on a side street. I can still remember what I ate: veal piccata, pasta, and tiramisu for dessert with their house wine. Now, I have their pasta limone. Delicious! I still don't consider it a... More

Acceptable food but in spite of signs saying they take credit cards, they announce at the end of the meal that they don't. They also impose a 15% service charge and don't give change from it. Couldn't be bothered to insist on it but also couldn't help but feel conned.

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
