We went 3 couples to eat and we ordered pasta some plates with meat. Also some antipasti and a Pizza, all the dishes were very nice and cooked in perfection except the pizza had a little bit more moist in the pizza bread to the porcinis.Very kind and helpful personnel.Good prices and quality.I would recommended to everybody.

Don't go in looking for 5-star ambiance...but if you want authentic Italian dining, we had an incredible experience! They weren't there to turn tables and move us along, we sat for 3 hours, taking it all in, from the incredible minestrone, to the reasonably priced 5-year old reserve Chianti, the pasta prepared to perfection and the tiramisu! The people that... More

We went there for dinner after seeing all the good ratings for this restaurant. What we found is poor food and the presentations of the dishes were not very pleasent for the eyes. I would not recomnend it or go again there.

We came across this place by chance it was off the main roads and quite late at night we had no idea where were going But we were so happy we walked into this place it was perfect for welcoming and friendly staff and really great authentic Italian food. We had sorbet in frozen lemon cases!

The house wine was terrible and the service was terrible. We left most of the food on our plates. Would not go back or recommend.

On a chilly, rainy October night in Roma, La Taverna dei Monti turned out to be the perfect warm cosy place for some traditional Roman food. The restaurant looks small when you walk in, but it extends back and is actually quite large. We got maltagiati cosse, vongole, e broccoletti (badly-cut pasta with mussels, clams, & broccoli), coda alla vaccinara... More

Looking for an Italian pasta? Found it! Here the atmosphere is nice, music, great service, without delay, has wifi. Pasta is the house, delicious, very well prepared, delicious. My son ate meat to the point, loved it. We ate pasta with seafood: gnocchi and ravioli alla cremma all'astice di Scampi. Recommend!

This restaurant received excellent reviews and I must admit the food was pretty decent. My wife had the lobster gnocchi and a word of caution - you get a sliced up lobster tail but no lobster meat in the dish. It was good but don't expect lobster meat. Now to my meal....I had the lasagna, and it was really good... More

Our recent week in Rome was filled with good food, but this restaurant was one I wished I had found earlier. I would have been tempted to eat all my meals here. I was hoping to have Trippa a la Romana, but no other restaurant had it, and on our last night in Rome I found it here, and it... More
