The best pasta in Italy

We were recommended this restaurant by our nearby hotel (Hotel De Monti) and this was the best meal we ate in our time in Rome. We had all three courses, all served in a good fashion with large portions. Followed up with a shot of limoncello and served up with a smile. Staff very friendly... read more

We choose the place based on tripadvisor reviews and it wasn't a good idea. The pasta was really bad, I mean it tastes really bad. The other two dishes were ok, but not fabulous. I will not return to this restaurant. It is overrated.

I don't have any special remarks about this restaurant. Menu is standard, I haven't noticed anything special. Prices are ok. Staff was very good, even restaurant was almost full. We didn't wait long for our order

The best restaurant we've been in Rome! Pasta amatriciana was great, niocchi al pesto, mozzarella and tiramisu just perfect! Friendly, with good service and good price. We would definitely visit again!

We enjoyed many great meals at this quaint restaurant tucked along a small quiet street off Via Nazionale in the vicinity of the Coliseum. The proprietor, Agustino and the other staff members were always very welcoming, kind, and patient. We feel we have made new friends at this very nice ristorante! Each visit was just as enjoyable as the first.... More

This was our favorite meal in Rome. We went here for dinner based on the TripAdvisor reviews and we were very glad that we did. We started with lasagna and tortellini which were both delicious and large portions and very well priced at 9 euros - for 9 euros, this pasta is the best value in Rome. We then had... More

We and here after reading amazing reviews and thought it would be a lovely way to end our week in Rome. We've come away feeling quite horrible and embarrassed. Being British, I was unaware that tortellini and cannelloni contained meat. I have quite problematic dietary issues with red meats and dairy products. While I have tablets to combat the dairy... This was the best meal I had in Rome. The service was great, and the food was especially umami. We ordered the antipasto del marre, penne arrabiata, ricotta and spinach ravioli with an espresso and tiramisu to end our meal. Everything came up to 47 euro. This place does not overcharge you unlike very many restaurants in Rome that have... More
