Very nice!

Small restaurant on Via Margutta, used to offer live jazz and keeps the piano and posters but now it's just about the food.! Well prepared, excellent service, wine list. Small sidewalk deck. Reservations envouraged.

Very nice setting on a beautiful Street. Waiter seemed in a rush. Tuna tartare was very different, and not in a good way, mixed with caraway seeds. Lamb was very good.

Fantastic theatrical ambience, great menu and charming service. All the staff speak English and know their food and wines! Try the Fillet Steak Marguta - heaven on a plate.

Just blocks from the Piazza di Popolo in one direction and the Spanish Steps in the other, there is a quiet little side-street away from the crowds. The restaurant is decorated in the Belle Epoch style and should have been good, judging by the reviews. It was not that night. It was serving what you come to know as tourist... More

This is a beautiful little restaurant. It has a few tables outside on the street which is where we ate. The food and service were excellent. We would definitely return. It was absolutely faultless.

Having visited the Osteria Margutta on previous trips to Rome, we decided to reacquaint ourselves with this lovely restaurant to make sure that its quality had not dissipated since our last trip. And the good news is: it did not disappoint. Located on a lovely, quiet street not far from the Spanish Steps, Via Margutta 82B, this Osteria is a... More

The service was great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was locally Roman. We ate there twice, once inside and once outside. Both times we had great lovely meal.

The place is off-road, five to ten minutes' walk from Piazza di Spagna. The location is discrete on a side street that is mostly pedestrian, with many well-dressed and elegant locals passing by. The food is tasty, fresh and to be recommended. The wine selection is outstanding. Service does leave room for improvement.

We had a lovely dinner tonight. The steak was great (fillet with Gorgonzola sauce) and we discovered a nice wine with a rather non common grape for Italy standard (Petit Verdot). Really worth a visit, and maybe I shall repeat myself, but for a nice restaurant in one of the nicest street in Rome nobody can really complain about prices...... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
