This year we were there for lunch and the owner Salvatore came by to visit and said he hopes to see us again in another 30 years. This place has fresh fish and great vegeggies and desseerts. Located in Piazza S.Maria right across from the famous church and my guess is they are about 50 years old at least so... More

Staying near the Piazza Sta Maria in Trastevere we thought we'd try this restaurant but were very disappointed compared to our other dining experiences. The food was overpriced with nothing served with mains and the most surly waiter we have come across in years!! The roast lamb was extremely disappointing. No house wine except by the glass and a wine... More

Stopped in here while walking in the area. Pleasant atmosphere. Initially attentive staff. Had the Saffron Risotto which was very good. While there was a huge cooler at the front with some amazing looking items, it was not explained to us - so we didn't partake. Like most of Europe it was hard to get the bill - but here... More

This place was recommended to us but every dish we ordered for our party of seven was just average. Everywhere else we ate in our five days in Rome was awesome but this place was not. BUT nice staff.

We had been to this restaurant in 2011. It was a pleasant meal. We went back on June 24th 2014 for lunch. It was very hot and the restaurant was almost empty. The prices were very high for what they offered. The waiter was very unfriendly. My husband asked for a small beer and he brought a medium sized one.... More

My boyfriend and I were recommended this place by the lady at the front desk of our hotel. That being said, we figured she would lead us to a restaurant that represented Roman cuisine well. The food is severely over priced and is the biggest tourist trap(as is much of the surrounding area). We were hounded the entire time by... More

Very good but somewhat slow and forgetful service. Food was very good (excellent lamb, pasta and dolci but rather below average risotto). Excellent location.

I'm no gourmet but I know good food and good value. The food ranged from very good to awful depending on the dish. The prosciutto was sliced right at your table and was excellent...my entree was Veal Picatta and it was good, but not the best I ever had...my brothers wife ordered Chicken Cacciatore and it was probably the worst... It is the fleece the tourist attitude of this con job Rome restaurant that makes it so thoroughly despicable. Dishonest, servers designed to fleece tourists, managers who know you are leaving and couldn't care less. STAY AWAY. . . The wine list is a joke, SHORT pours, and tasteless, utterly terrible choices, STAY OIUT OF THIS TOURIST DIVE.
