Food and wine was good, but You can have them in many other Roman restaurants without this kind of unpleasant suprises. The waiter that served our table was very arrogant, we felt that he is hurrying us up all the time, he took my friend's plate when she still had her fork in hand and was chewing! As if it... More

While Sabatini is a delightful spot for a lunch on a sunny day in Trastavere Rome, the meal was disturbed by a heavy charge of 23 euros for a glass of wine. It was listed as 13 euros for a glasss of 7.5 cl's. A small glass of wine was presented and charged at a rate of 15cl's. There is... More

The food and wine are nice, but overpriced for what you get. Staff are obnoxious and rude, which makes the whole thing an unpleasant experience. Nice location, but not worth it. Go somewhere else for better value and nicer waiters!

We wandered into Ristorante Sabatini (inside, as it was Dec.) as is was close by our hotel, and were charmed enough to book a table ahead for Christmas night. The atmosphere felt great, I liked the spirit of it...a gentle formality...the food extremely satisfying and not overly expensive. That second night, I had veal scallopine...the first time in over 20... More

Very nice resturant in a pretty square, food was very good and the service was excellent. Great family meal with many choices for kids and adults! Wine list was good and reasonably priced for what we got.

Recommended by a tour guide as a good, but fairly expensive restaurant. A group of 6 adults, we had a very good meal, although inevitably some dishes were more highly praised than others. Particularly good starters - seafood salad, asparagus, mussel and clam soup. Good selection of traditionally cooked Roman main courses included on an extensive menu. Extensive wine list... More

We went there for dinner after some suggestions of our friends. The location is the best in the middle of Trastevere and also the food quality is very high.In our 4 days in Rome this was the best place that we have been. We will return again here if will come back to Rome

Went for my 40th birthday. Can recommend the seafood in particular, wine list is extensive and very reasonable. Only complaint was the speed with with food was served, I prefer a little more time between courses. Worth a visit

Maybe we were just younger but we used to like this place much more. Enjoyed the romantic feeling and walks in the area especially after the meal. It always has been an overpriced place but the food was good. Never had problem with the service but lately it has turned into even more of a money making enterprise. The pastas... More

We chose this restaurant because of its position on a lovely square and because fresh fish were on offer (you choose your fish from the display). While we enjoyed our meal we came away feeling ripped off. Veal milanese - shared starter - was OK. Tasty veal, but it should have been thinner and crispier. We chose a st pierre... More
