The staff, the rooms and the food makes you feel like home. Friendly people, with a warm place and excellent food. Clean place, fast service and a great atmosphere with no too much tourists. Try everything, because the meats, the pastas, the antipastis and the sweets are truly good. Even the vino de la casa was good.

Visited twice this trip and were welcomed by all the staff. We only come to Rome at New Year (for the last ten years) but each time we visit, the welcome is the same. I'm not sure what an earlier poster meant by "touristic interior". Not that many tourists find this place, but lunchtimes are usually pretty busy with locals.... More

Food is good and real. Atmosphere is not very intimate with quite touristic surroundings. Service not good, it was slow when the restaurant was near empty and struggled to acknowledge us. Many restaurants in Rome, worth looking around more.

Six years ago we went here and mistakenly ordered 2 servings of antipasti and as a result could not eat anything else. The waiter then made us promise when we came back to return on empty stomachs, which we did on our most recent trip to Rome and Orso 80. This is such an appealing restaurant in every way: set... The couple we went with was advised by their daughter that this was one of her families favorite places so we took her word for it and indeed she was right! The Osso Bocco was wonderful as well as the pastas, fried zucchini, and potatoes. The atmosphere was classic Italian and the smell when we went in was very convincing... More

We ate several meals here during our 2 week visit to Rome. The service was spectacular, especially when we returned after the first time. Good Roman food. Excellent thin crust Pizza to eat in or take out. Great soups for a light lunch. We enjoyed talking to the owner and our regular waiter who spoke English.

L'Orso 80 was recommended by our hotel. It was exactly what I was hoping for - good food, local restaurant, mostly locals and residents eating. The menu is extensive. I had special: home made egg noodles + white truffles - outstanding. My wife had very standard pasta with red sauce - very good. Appetizers were classic, wine was very good,... More

I have been there many times and by far one of the best restaurants in Rome if not the best. Their claim to fame are the antipasti simply delicious. The menu is authentic , not a tourist trap, you will find Italian politicians, personalities and locals. It is located right behind piazza Navona. The service is impeccable and they will... More

This is a family run traditional Italian restaurant which serves pastas, meet and fish including seafood. The food is delicious and the place is very romantic, also it has a great collection of wine. Very recommended!!! (70-90E per couple)

We tried this restaurant for a late lunch after arriving at our apartment just a few doors away. We were a bit new to the area and other places were closing their kitchens, but the staff here were more than accommodating. We ordered just a main course - my husband choosing veal scallopini with lemon and I with marsala. Both... More
