Though the atmosphere is very Roma! We had a classic meal, ranging from over priced white truffles on pasta to a plate of delicious fresh sauted porcini. It was a bit hard to squeeze our team of five into the back tables, but in the end we got there. And the staff treated us very well. Mediocre table wine, so... more

Yes locals do visit and they are sitted towards the back. What does it mean? who knows. The pasta is edible, everything else is served "a la carte" Yes, they charge a per person fee for the bread they automatically place in front of you. If you are looking for friendly service and hospitality - this is not the place... more

Nino is near the Spanish Steps. Tom Cruise took Katie Holmes when they got married. The restaurant is moderately priced and terrific. House wine is really good. Try the Roman artichokes and the pasta carbonara. The lamb and potatoes were ok, not great. However, for dessert, the chestnut cake was AWESOME! One of the best cakes I have ever eaten.... more

Nino's restaurant is not very far from the Spanish Steps and via Condotti, because of that you pay a much higher price than what you would pay for a better meal elsewhere. We found our food was good, but not great or fabulous as suggested by some others. I would say venture further away from the tourist areas more

Family of four, two nicely dressed teenage boys included, had dinner here in late June 2008. All of the tourists are seated up front and the Italians (yes, it is still popular with locals from what we could see) were sent to the back room. That's ok. We didn't have problems with the service, although our waiter changed for reasons... more

We spent 4 days in Rome and ate at Ninos twice. It's a wonderful restaurant that serves great food and is well priced. On both occasions the staff were attentive and profesional. Try the vegetable antipasto, liver venetian style, grilled Veal chop and the profiteroles!! Don't forget to make a reservation otherwise you won't get in. more

This place is bit of real Rome in an area that's filled with lots of spots that cater to tourists. But residents of Rome have been visiting Nino for years, and little has changed. more
