We read about this place as 'no just ordinary tourist place' even though is near the Pantheon. What can I say besides - go and try it. Oysters are delicious (I still like the cheapest ones the most). We didn't want to eat big because we had our Christmas eve dinner already arranged so we stopped only for a bit.... More

A fantastic choice of crudo , to start , accompanied by excellent Sicilian wine , an Etna rosso which we have come to really enjoy . Then, After the crudo we had another assortment of warm seafood antipasti that were exceptional too . Especially the grilled octopus with avocado , followed by a beautiful pasta cooked to perfection with scallops... More

This is our third time to La Rosseta and always the food is wonderful. We only wanted a very light lunch and we both ordered the artichoke as a starter. My husband ordered the clams, with spagetti and I ordered the sea bass cooked with salt. Our waiter tried very hard to convince us that it was not enough and... More

In Rome, desperate for fish but it's a Monday? Worry no more. Point your nose to La Rosetta near Pantheon and Piazza Navona, and follow it. I didn't quite believe the locals that recommended it but was served freshest catch, oysters, raw shrimp, shellfish and sashimi-style fish fillets as appetizer course. Followed it with a seabass oven-baked in salt. Allowed... More

We went today at the restaurant and we don't have anything to complain: food perfect, oyster perfect, pasta & seafood perfect, not to mention the desert. Just be aware that the place is a little bit more expensive that the regular places, but for us the value for money worth it

We needed a break from the usual meats and padtas and went in search of a genuine seafood restaurant, and we were recommended La Rosetta by our concierge, and what a marvel it turned out to be ! It's th oldest seafood restaurant in Rome dates back to 1966. 6 varieties of oysters to start with, then clams with spaghetti... More

This restaurant, tucked up a sidestreet near The Pantheon, is one of Rome's best. Whether you seek seafood or meats, La Rosetta is up there with the best. Desserts are fab too with house made gelati, quite apart from a fabulous selection of cakes. A wonderful wine list too, which may be why it is so popular with local businessmen... More

loved the way the chef suggested dishes based on what was in season. We had the most amazing mushrooms that I have ever tasted. Evidently in Italy there is a short period when they are at their best. Lovely service and food.

We were amazed at the quality of the seafood, raw and cooked! The best we ever had, anywhere! That first seafood platter was just out of this world! Oysters, the freshest! Sashimi of 4 amazing fish and squid, unbelievable, those tubular oysters and shrimp, can't get over that starter! Our waiter and servers went above and beyond, wine choices superb,... More

If you are looking for seafood in Rome, this is the restaurant to get it. It is pricey, probably the most expensive meal that we had on our entire vacation in Italy. We had a sampling of hot and cold appetizers, seafood pasta, and sea bass. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. The only downside would be price.... More
