Our best lunch in Rome

We had a lovely lunch outside. The food was very fresh and delicious, and the waiter was attentive and professional.

Traveling with 3 good friends in Rome and happened on this charming restaurant near our hotel, just off the Via Del Corso. They have outdoor dining. Food is good, the service is delightful. Well located, not far from the Spanish Steps. We liked it well enough to return. Also well priced.

Found this a bit off the street which was a positive. I had the steak and it was good - the lady a pizza - not so much. The beer was cold, the service was casual and our overall impression was average. They could have at least tried to fake a smile for us tourists.

Prawn Risotto- a lot of places murder risotto- this place certainly does not. Grilled Anchovies- fresh, plain, perfect. Lemon and rocket- no frills. Excellent service- best lunch in Rome this trip!

We were treated like kings. The food was absolutely delicious. They gave us free drinks. Nice location, behind Piazza Augusto Emperatore.

Our private guide took us here for lunch in our very first day in Rome and we loved it, so we came back twice. We were a group of 5 persons, we tried all different dishes, from fabulous pizza capricciosa or pizza calzone Quattro formaggi con funghi, to ravioli con spinacci, or fantastic lasagna. And what to say about fantastic... More

Doing the tourist thing, always a bit of a crowd to share the limited space with. Took the famous 117 to the plaza del popolo and started the stroll down the via del corso. I felt like a light snack before fighting the hoards trying to get a view of the spanish steps and the trevi fountain (I'll be the... More

Situated at the side of a square just opposite the bottom of the busy Via Croce this charming restaurant serves delicious food from a good menu with very smart and polite and friendly waiters. You can sit inside or out we came for supper and returned for lunch the next day and sat outside but under cover. There is also... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
