We read such glowing reviews and recommendations, but found it only so-so on the night we went. We were seated outside, at the table closet to the street - a police motorcade with a cardinal in the back of black Mercedes limo stopped right next to us, and I could have shook hands with him had his window been down.... Words don't do Ivo a Trastavere justice! The pizza is fantastic: be it margarita, tuna, apple, honey, etc - the array of choices will satisfy your palate to no end! A liter of house red, white, or rose wine is 8 euros. Plan to arrive between 8:30 and 11:00 (the later the better to truly experience the local Roman ambience... More

We were super hungry after walking miles all day and sat beside some folks who said to expect to keep waiting -they had been waiting an hour! but luck was on our side - their food arrived and soon after ordering, ours arrived too! The Porcini pizza was the winner here. Not just a few porcini scattered on the pizza,... More

Very good pizza in a relaxed and very casual atmosphere. The service is never very good, but it somehow adds to the charm. Very reasonable prices and located in a great part of town, Trastevere.

We decided to take an english friend to this restaurant which served amazing food. However, the service was horrible, our pizzas took more than 1 hour to be ready and the waiter was rude to us like no one before.

Bad experience, waiters were very rude and inattentive . Food was even worse, sent back firstly because it was stone cold then left on the table second time to it being no better! Complained to waiter who just shook their head and asked me to pay the bill!! All in all painfully bad experience avoid at all costs!!!

the place is open till late compare to most in the district. we step in at 930pm and the place was still bustling. specials /not on menu were listed on the wall - no fuss - handwritten on paper. we had a vongole and a beef alla romano, both tasted wonderful, the tiramisu = huge!!

The restaurant was very busy and waited 5 mins for a table, but we were lucky, some people must have waited 1/2 an hour. Our starters came quite quickly, but had to wait a while for two beers. Then my main course came and I had fettuccini and it was almost cold, I should have sent it back, because my... More

this place and panattoni on the Main Street in trastevere are both one of the best pizza places in Rome. can't say if one is better, but they are definitely worth a dinner.
