Pretty much one of the best pizzas I've ever had. We were lucky to get a seat outside as after us there was a long queue of people waiting. Everyone loved their meals and prices were ok too. The service was a bit hasty, but it did not bother us.

This place used to be a nice pizzeria, but it has obviously changed from seven years ago. They went for the quantity not the quality. They put plenty of tables outside squeezing as many tourists as possible in cheap plastic tables and chairs, regardless of the traffic. The service was slow, and a bit bullying. A simple test was to... More

We have just returned to our hotel in Trastevere after eating here. We have walked past this restaurant dozens of times on our visits to Rome but this is the first time we have eaten here. We have been missing a good experience. The atmosphere is great, the service was excellent and the food was good. Despite them being extremely... More

Food is mediocre, service was the worst I have ever had. Waiter did not even wait for me to finish order before walking away. I also had to eat half my main course before they brought salt and pepper. Waiters were rude and unhelpful, it is over priced garbage.

My family of four went to Ivo at 8:30 on a Thursday night. We were told we would have to wait 10 minutes for a table, but it ended up being shorter than that. It is a very lively place full of locals! The food is really amazing for the price. The pizzas are a great size and the bruschetta... More

We read such glowing reviews and recommendations, but found it only so-so on the night we went. We were seated outside, at the table closet to the street - a police motorcade with a cardinal in the back of black Mercedes limo stopped right next to us, and I could have shook hands with him had his window been down.... Words don't do Ivo a Trastavere justice! The pizza is fantastic: be it margarita, tuna, apple, honey, etc - the array of choices will satisfy your palate to no end! A liter of house red, white, or rose wine is 8 euros. Plan to arrive between 8:30 and 11:00 (the later the better to truly experience the local Roman ambience... More

We were super hungry after walking miles all day and sat beside some folks who said to expect to keep waiting -they had been waiting an hour! but luck was on our side - their food arrived and soon after ordering, ours arrived too! The Porcini pizza was the winner here. Not just a few porcini scattered on the pizza,... More
