Highly recommended with reason

We were recommended to eat hear by an ex- Roman we met on the plane. We eventually found the place. The outside tables were crowded but they fitted us in inside. Pizza. pasta and salads all fresh and tasty. Place was busy but service was still attentive enough. Would recommend it to others for... read more

Great food. It was so great that we ate here twice during out four days in Rome. It had a lot of locals eating there. We spent around 60 Euro for 5 people.

Best pizza in Italy. The "Buffalo Bill" is my favorite, perfect combination of sauce, cheese, tomatoes and basil. Delicious pasta as well (cacio e pepi, bolognese and pesto are great). Wonderful, fun atmostphere with great waitstaff and overall a must-go-to place in Rome.

We visited for dinner in summer and sat at one of the tables outside. Cars going past, people walking dogs and always something to look at. Service was friendly. The pizzas were on a very thin crust which was charred around the edges. Our youngest son only usually eats about one slice at home- at Ivo he ate three slices... More

Had dinner here one night, and was pleased. Had bruchetta for a starter, which was absolutely perfect! So flavourfull! Had also a pizza margherita with some red wine. The pizza was great: thin crust, not too crispy, good cheese and a robust tomato sauce. Even the chespest red wine was good, and the whole evening ended up costing me around... More

Eating pizza, drinking wine, beside a cobbled stone street! We happened upon this pizzeria around 9:30 one evening and it was crowded. We waited for only 20 minutes to get a table outside. Lucky! We ordered prosciutto with melon, 3 pizzas, tomato and garlic, sausage, mushroom and olives, and one with tomato and anchovies. Very thin crisp crust and all... More

We actually visited here way back in 1995 but just came across it again recently. The thins & crispy pizza is the best we have ever tasted - the queues of locals and tourist are there for a reason. The staff and atmosphere were amazing (esp. if you like football!). Yes it is very busy, not it is not fine... More

I'm grateful to my friends for introducing me to this place. The lengthy wait for a table spoke for itself and I'm happy patience paid off! The menu boasts quite a bit of variety, enough to have something for everyone (carnivores, vegetarians, pizza lovers, pasta fiends, appetizer aficionados, etc) and the pricing is very reasonable. There seemed to be a... More

Good food. But extremely congested. We had to leave stroller out and there barely was space to seat 4. Great pasta and pizza, good atmosphere.

While service is not at highest level, this restaurant is definitely a safe value - good food, good product. Pizza and pastas are a must!

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
