italian food with a decent price

This is a nice place to havel Italian food at a reasonable price. I tried the polenta with pork meat and was tasty, they are known for their pizza as well. The place is simple and don t expect much from the decoration, but the service is a good, and the price is fair.

I'm from New York and have loved pizza for over 60 years. I prefer the traditional NY thin crust. I've had my favorite places for pizza but Ivo now tops the list. The crust is so thin it's amazing it can hold the sauce. Once you take a bit, the flavors explode in your mouth. On my current trip to... More

We came here a year ago after finding it recommended on a blog online. Best recommendation we have ever gotten, the pizza was phenomenal and we have reminisced about it ever since, I'm going back to Rome this Friday and it is 100% the first place I intend on going.

Good and tasty italian food and cheap prices. The interior is tipical italian and it is always very crowded. Arrive early to get a table. It is common to find locals inside.

I had high hopes for this restaurant as it was recommended by a friend and is a traditional Italian canteen. As I was keen to try some of the traditional dishes apart from pizza and pasta I went for the Saltimbocca... It was very disappointing. It was cold, too salty and came with chips as recommended by the waiter, which... More

Just got a tiramisu as takeaway as we had already eaten earlier in the evening, it was the best we have ever had , simply delicious. The staff are super friendly and make a great effort to understand a lot of different languages. The pizza s looked great and I look forward to sampling one next time. So 5 outa... More

We have been coming here for years and ate here twice on a recent trip to Rome. The pizza, salads and appetizers are always excellent. Especially good artichokes and suppli. They offer a large assortment of white and tomato based pies with some interesting and delicious combinations. My favorite is mozzarella, apple and Gorgonzola. Good house wine. Friendly and efficient service.

We came across this restaurant while walking around looking for somewhere to eat. This place seem to have a fair amount of local clientele which prompted us to try the food. They have a fairly extensive menu including a range of pizza which we did not try on this location. We tried the bruschetta with tomato and rocket and tomato... More

Staying in Trastevere

Neighborhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
