The positive half to start with : an agreeable terrace on a reasonably quiet street, good and fresh Roman trattoria food, carciofi alla romana, abbacchio, etc and a good version of that clichéd desert, tiramisu, all very reasonably priced. Now to the other half : the most abominable and actively hostile service. As my 2 Milanese friends and myself entered, our... More

Well, went across the Tiber to find the highly recommended "Enoteca Vini, Vizi, & Virtu" restaurant only after a fruitless twenty minute search to discover it doesn't exist where it is supposed to: only a very small wine shop at the Tripadvisor address! So went across the street to a nearby restaurant. What a lucky find! The lunch was delicious... More

My fiancé and I visited this restaurant yesterday. We did arrive rather late (10pm) but felt extremely rushed throughout the experience. We were guided towards the nearest table outside (despite me feeling a little chilly) and advised on what we should order. Granted the food and wine was tasty however in my opinion it was pricey for the portion sizes... More

This restaurant is an absolute favorite of ours - whenever in Rome. It is in walking distance from the Vatican and serves traditional roman fare, but done magnificently. In the spring their roast lamb with roasted potatoes is the best in the city. Great sidewalk location for good weather. Note that this is not a tourist destination, you will be... More

Went to dinner at a very local spot - yes their English was a little rough but we did well enough because they recommended the best buffalo mozzarella we ate on the trip. This cheese made my husband change his mind about " bland mozzarella" and they served the best pasta we had on the trip - bucatini Al Americana... More

I was taken there by an old Roman family, who are regulars - the service was much as I have seen in many restaurants in Rome. Lunch was good, however the tiramisu was fantastic. 3 courses & wine - perfectly reasonable & definitely cheaper than the same in London or Paris.

Party of 6 on a Thursday night. Portions were small, food was bland, pasta was way undercooked (yes, we know it should be al dente), service was unfriendly and inattentive, and pricing was high, even by Rome standards. Very annoying that like many restaurants in Italy, unrequested, stale, bread was brought to that table and charged for (twice). Would definitely... More

I am no expert in italian food but i found this restaurant totally randomly one evening and i was positively surprised. First the service was very nice and amicable. The setting is not crazy but tables were nicely set. We had sme pizza as a entree, then some pastas and finally some meat which was excellent. Probably could have added... More

Good food, excellent service, great wine and very reasonably price. This restaurant was nearby to our hotel. It had been recommended along with another by a fellow guest I was talking to. The waiter we had was excellent, he didn't speak very good english and our italian is poor but together we sorted the order and had an amusing talk... More
