We were shown to a table, but that was the last we saw of the waitress, too busy chatting amongst themselves and attending to superior diners I suppose. We left after 15 minutes without ordering

We stumbled upon Harry's on valentines night and after a long day of sightseeing were in need of a well deserved wine! The service was first class from when we walked through the door, attentive but not overpowering waiters, gorgeous canapés to accompany our drinks and a buzzing atmosphere on a busy Saturday 14th February! This place isn't cheap but... More

This is the place to take a drink, if you want to meet cellebreies. Excellent service. Wanderful to sit outside. Drinks include a long range of starters. We will come back!

We enjoyed the ones in Florence and Venice a bit more. We actually liked the atmosphere more to tell you the truth

Harry's Bar(s) appear all over the world with all of them espousing a link to Hemingway. The "real" Harry's Bar seems to be disputed between Venice and Paris, but really . . . who cares? Take a seat and have a wonderful (not too sweet) Bellini at a (not so reasonable price) and enjoy the ambiance.

My fiance had just proposed to me in Cinque Terre and we were looking to have a special dinner in Rome. He called ahead and the staff worked through the language barrier without any issues. They even made us a cake with "congratulations" written on it. We had heard that the restaurant is a celebrity hot spot and could definitely... More

Thought we would drop in as we were going past and I had heard of the venue. All though not totally disappointed,  was not to enamored either.   Service was reasonable but not exceptional,  which is what you would expect considering what we spent for a couple of sandwiches,  tea and a beer. To be fare we did have... More

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
