This out of the way place was recommended by our guide. The food and service were very good. My wife had the Spaghetti Pepo. Unfortunately, they do not do it in the parmesan bowl but is great anyway. This was probably the best food I had whilst in Venice and Rome. A lovely, bustly restaurant with some great food. We both had the Baccala (cod) which was incredible, the wine was excellent also for the price. When I am back in Rome, I will definitely be back there.

We booked this restaurant before our trip for our first dinner in Rome (based on a recommendation on Trip Advisor) and it turned out to be the best dinner we had. It was absolutely packed when we arrived at 8pm and stayed busy throughout the evening, a lively buzz but not noisy. The service was excellent, charming people who were... More

My wife and I were surprised how relaxed this restaurant was when we went in given that it's literally right off of Campo di Fiori, a rather busy piazza. But it paid off big time - the food was amazing and we especially enjoyed the pistachio dessert. Do yourself a favor and go here for sure - great service, great... More

We were looking for somewhere special to eat on our last night in Rome. After reading all the very positive reviews we decided to go here as it seemed to tick all the boxes. We took a taxi from the other side of the city with high expectations. Unfortunately these were not met. I ordered the beef cheeks and was... More

We first came here 10 years ago, and it is as good as ever. No touts outside, people know this is good. Very good choice of primo and secundo with a good choice of wines. We ate outside, risky in April as it can get cool, so recommend booking to sit inside. This and the restaurant opposite are the highlights... More

Nice and central place to eat. They had good selection of Lazio wines and very nice artichokes. As we were there over Easter period – we had a very good lamp roast.

We stumbled into this little family restaurant as we sought shelter from the rain... It was Easter Sunday so it was packed with Italian families enjoying a proper meal out... Was charming to see people get up and give the proprietor a hug before paying a leaving... You could tell this place is a community staple and we were sold... More

We really enjoyed this restaurant! The food and the wine was just delicious and as not many tourists were in the Restaurant we almost thought we were the only visitors in Rome. The interior is simple and neat which I liked a lot. Worth a visit!

We each had the fixed price meal which at 28 Euros was a very good value. The food was well prepared and of tasted great. The restaurant is lovely and the service was friendly and efficient.
