We found the restaurant by coincidence and we were welcomed very friendly ! We noticed right away that this was no tourist trap because most people seemed to be Italians. Some of us ordered the menu, some antipasti and then homemade pasta! Everything was DELICIOUS and the BEST MEAL WE HAD IN ROME! For 4 people wit drinks, menu, antipasti... More

I visited this restaurant twice and on both occasions myself and my friend had a delicous real italian meal. I can recommend the sea food risotto and sea food salad, also the lamb ribs and the panne cote are wonderful. The service was great and a very friendly restaurant.

This restaurant was quite near to our hotel. The setting is perhaps not the very best, fronted as it is with many parked motor cycles but the food and service were both superb. My partner had the panzarella to start with (breadcrumbs, tomato and olive oil) which sounds simple but he said it was one of the best things he... More

We stopped in late last night with some friends, one of whom had been dreaming about the pasta since her last trip 5 years ago. Not only did the accommodate us (we walked in right before the kitchen was closing), but the staff was warm and helpful, the food every bit as wonderful as my friend had remembered. Tonarelli cacio... More

A true roman dining experience! We did the the special and had the most amazing meal! The customer service was equally wonderful which made our evening perfect! The hostess was so friendly and the wait staff very accommodating! We even received complimentary limoncello at the end of our meal! Would definitely recommend!! Thank you for such a positive, special and... More

We usually heed the recommendations of the Slow Food guide, which includes Grappolo d’Oro. In addition, this is one of the very few restaurants in Rome that accept online reservations through 2spaghi. When we arrived at the restaurant, they asked for our name and honored the reservation. This place is small and almost inhumanly crowded, but the staff cope well... More

We were four people, tried the mixed starters and a dish each, all of us were extremely happy with our food. The tiramisu was great as well, I would say one of the best I've had!

This was our second visit to Grappolo d'Oro, although it had been a number of years since we were there. The restaurant lived up to our expectations, although the menu was slightly different than in the past. We had a bottle of Cenereto wine from the Lazio region to go along with our dinner. Normally we enjoy antipasti before our... More

We ate dinner at this restaurant and decided to try their pasta. We tried the special Roman dish 'Cacio e Pepe' which was really good.

Panzanella. I love it, I've ordered in many restaurants and prepared it at home, but this one was magical. But of course its about the tomatoes. They have to be good, no great. So when It arrived having been unmolded from a small terrine, I wasn't even sure that it *was* panzanella. I've never seen anything like that, but it... More
