OK, the view of Rome is amazing. Magnificent. Unparalleled. Too bad the food is overwrought, microwaved dreck. And it's expensive, too! This place is a tourist trap if there ever was one. Go have a drink at the bar, or bring your own bottle of wine to nearby Pincio and save your money for dinner at Piazza del Populo. more
After wandering through the Borghese gardens, my wife and I found a beautiful 2 story Roman structure, appeared to be serving food. After entering, the area seemed small with few tables. We were seated upstairs, overlooking Rome. Our dinner was excellent, scampi, wild strawberries and delicious wine. I can't wait to go back soon. more
If you really like to enjoy roman food on a top nr 1 location, go here. We have had lunch on Sunday (make sure you reserve) and between the Italian families enjoying the sunday family day, this was an execellent last lunch in Rome.
