We enjoyed dinner last night at Camponeschi very much. The service was exceptional and the food was fresh and clean and delicious. There was a delightful guitarist playing using just the right level of sound to give us a fabulous atmosphere to enjoy our wine and food. The Piazza Farnese is a pleasant nice place for an evening meal, not... More

Great experience overall. The location is located in a cute square that features a beautiful fountain. Service was impeccable. Never had an empty glass of water or wine. Food was amazing. You'll love the complimentary pizza bread! The head server, an older gentleman, made sure our experience was a great one. This place is not cheap so be prepared. On... More

We selected this restaurant based on the reviews and a recommendation from our hotel. We were very disappointed because out of our total 9 night stay in Italy (Rome, Venice, and Sorrento) this was the worse dinner experience. The service was very bad, we asked for still water they brought out sparkling water and then the waiter tried to explain... More

Food was good though a bit overpriced. Service was slow and confused throughout the meal. Took 30 minutes and 3 requests to bring our bill.

I just was there in the middle of the "madness" with the canonizations of the two Popes. Despite all the confusion and invasion of people Camponeschi was still able to serve us an unforgettable dinner with a great quality and a touch of personality .

The place was crowded which was a sign maybe it's not the best. We were referred ere but disappointed. Just not the best experience for the amount of money to spend.

I have dined at Camponeschi before but not for several years now. I was pleased to find that it is still excellent. Such a wonderful location, world class service, and a stunning meal. I will return again every time I re-visit Roma.

Celebrated Valentines dinner here with my husband and dined like royalty. I felt like stepped into the Italian version of Downton Abby. The food was phenomenal - several course meal and several staff on hand. One of the most lovely, upscale and romantic dining experiences of my life!

We were recommended Camponeschi by a former rector of the English College in Rome and we were not disappointed. We were a little worried when on entering we saw the very dated interior and we appeared to be the only diners bar one person who was on his own but this did not last long (even the solitary diner was... This was our third visit to Camponeschi, and we were let down this time either! We were eating inside, to cold for outside dining. The food is wonderful. For the main course my wife and I shared a chateaubriand. Absolutely delicious! And the potatoes! Wow! The service was, as always, perfect and friendly. After a while a guitar player appeared....
