Great service but food lacking flavour

The dining experience was brilliant we loved the service and love music however our main dishes were pretty disappointing. The fish was tasteless and the meat tough and chewy. The service really was lovely but the food pulled the experience down and we did not feel it was great value for money.

We have never eaten in the restaurant but have been to the bar many times. Their cocktails are great. My favorite is the "Florida" which is made with freshly squeezed orange juice. With the drink, you also get a load of bar snacks. Very pleasurable pre-dinner beverage place. Someday we will try the restaurant too.

The staff are pleasantly professional & make you feel like home the minute you walk in. The ambience is cosy, elegant & cheerful. Had a small Christmas tree up and some seasonal decorations .. Was so festive and the rain outside helped to make it cosier inside. Ordered gnocchi with blue cheese, pear & walnut. Not to be missed, the... More

It is the best fish restaurant that I had the chance to visit during my trip to Rome. The service is great, the food typical italian but cooked in a very special way. Ideal for couples as the live singer on Saturday night was the romantic touch that was needed.

I can’t tell you when I had a better experience in a restaurant. I didn’t have a reservation, but 7:15pm, is apparently ungodly early for Romans to eat dinner, so they seated me. An adorable gentleman in a black tuxedo and red bow tie waited on me, as did pretty much everyone else in the restaurant, since I was the... More

Camponeschi is one of my favourite places in the world to dine. The service is impeccable and the food is great. A beautiful setting too. I highly recommend this, especially for a couple.

We enjoyed dinner last night at Camponeschi very much. The service was exceptional and the food was fresh and clean and delicious. There was a delightful guitarist playing using just the right level of sound to give us a fabulous atmosphere to enjoy our wine and food. The Piazza Farnese is a pleasant nice place for an evening meal, not... More

Great experience overall. The location is located in a cute square that features a beautiful fountain. Service was impeccable. Never had an empty glass of water or wine. Food was amazing. You'll love the complimentary pizza bread! The head server, an older gentleman, made sure our experience was a great one. This place is not cheap so be prepared. On... More

We selected this restaurant based on the reviews and a recommendation from our hotel. We were very disappointed because out of our total 9 night stay in Italy (Rome, Venice, and Sorrento) this was the worse dinner experience. The service was very bad, we asked for still water they brought out sparkling water and then the waiter tried to explain... More
