Our family of seven ate at the Restaurant Antico Arco during our recent visit to Rome. Antico Arco is located in the Trastevere neighborhood in Rome. It is a small, beautiful restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. The homemade Chitarra pasta with Pecorino cheese was absolutely amazing!!! The Spaghetti Verrigni with carbonara sauce was very, very good! The best of the... More

Having spent our first two nights in Rome being disappointed in our choices of restaurants we decided to use Trip Advisor to help us choose for our third evening. We fell upon Antico Arco and could not have been happier. It's safe to say both myself and my partner were a little out of our league having not ate in... More

Ate dinner here twice. Every dish for both meals was very good, have a short menu but a lot of diversity (fish, beef, pasta, veggy). Staff is very friendly and competent. If you follow the Washington Post restaurant ratings, a solid 2.5 of 4 (Tom S is a tough reviewer). Desserts were the best we had in 10 days in... More

It was nice place but I do realise in Rome almost everywhere you go you'll have a lovely food no need to pay double for same sort of food in expensive plate.

Antico Arco Ristorante is a wonderful restaurant worth visiting when in Rome - about 15 minutes by taxi outside of CBD. The food is just superb, the service is impeccably unassuming but efficient and highly professional - and the restaurant itself is elegant and stylish yet not pompous by any means - fact is it is still a bit casual... We were so pleasantly surprised at the excellence of this restaurant--the friendly service, delicious food, special and vast wine list. And the prices--for a restaurant of this level--were very reasonable.. The first courses(primi) were new and very special rendition s of Roman classics but truly memorable especially the carbonara with black truffles--not to be missed. The dessert too was a... More

Even though this restaurant is a bit out of the way it is well worth the trip. Upon entering we were warmly greeted and seated promptly. The place is elegant and stylish but not over the top. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Definitely a top ten of casual restaurants in Rome.

I went with my colleague last week and we had a great dinner there. The food is excellent and has bit if twist from usual menu. Decent service and recommended. As already mentioned by others, they offer good wine list.

We loved Antico Arco when we visited it on an earlier trip to Rome, and our return visit for dinner this April confirmed that it is still going strong. A taxi is the best way to get there, and then you can walk off the calories heading down the hills of Trastevere to find your way back. Wonderful appetizers and... More
