Pretty much know what you're getting

We arrived back in the Piazza del Popolo area after an all day tour and went exploring. We thought Gusto looked interesting but the moment we got the all english menu, I knew what to expect. Nothing great, but nothing horrible either. Service was challenging, but again, we expected it.

Like most tourists I was looking for something to eat after seeing the sites and stumbled across this restaurant which was quite busy outside. To cut a long story short I had to get a menu myself and it took 15 minutes until my order was taken. The food was dreadful for the price, I come to this conclusion after... More

My boyfriend & I met up with a family friend that lives in Rome. She took us to this nondescript Piazza for a drink. We live in NYC which has the best of every cuisine & we come from families of great cooks so we are "foodies" & our tastes are very discerning. I ordered the fettuccine with black truffle... More

This place is located in a nice piazza, slightly hidden from crazy tourist rush. It has a nice selection of pizzas but is primarily a rotisserie. Good service and wifi avaiilable.

We went there because of a reccommandation. The ambiance in and outside the restaurant was nice. We had three different waiter/waitress - one didn't listen to the orders at all and the other needed an half an hour to bring us our coffees. We ate just a chicken salad, which was OK. A cheek was that they charged six Euros... More

My husband, two teenage daughters and I went to dinner here on our first night in Rome and were treated so rudely. Even though there were many tables inside and out the hostess told us she only had inside, which was fine with us. But then she showed us to a small table for 3 (although we were 4) right... More

My family and I were stopping by Augustus' mausoleum when we saw this restaurant. The decor and ambiance is very attractive, so we decided to sit down and eat lunch in the outside restaurant area (there is a buffet area too). The service was courteous, efficient, and fast. The food tasted great and we had a nice view from our... More

After being in Venice and Rome, will admit struggled to find a very decent Italian restaurant but this one was brilliant. Pasta was very nice, cooked just how you would imagine it to be. Recommend pasta with garlic, chill and toasted bread crumb.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
