Great atmosphere, this place has a more upmarket restaurant upstairs, we were eating in the pizzeria downstairs as this restaurant is more known for pizza Naples style with a slightly thicker crust, than what most of us think is the original thin crust Italian pizza, Naples is where the pizza was born, as my Italian friends tell me. Nice atmosphere,... More

We stopped by for a coffee early one day and decided to try it for dinner the next evening. It's not far from the Spanish Steps so easy to get to. The wood fired oven downstairs gave the whole place a nice feel and the desserts looked amazing. When we walked in the next evening we were welcomed like we'd... More

I went to Gusto to have dinner, they came to give me the menu after 10 minutes I was sitting there. Then, they came to take the order after 15 more minutes. The restaurant was not full. I decided to take aperittivo as the buffet was there and not order a pizza or anything else that needs cooking as they... More

Food was very good but the pizza was excellent! Nice environment, a little too crowded though. Fast service, well trained staff, reasonable prices. I would definitely eat there again.

Stopped for a quick break while wandering. Had a couple of expressos and small snack. It was all fine. The service though was poor. The waiter left us for ages and seemed bery uninterested in us. We wouldn't return as there are far better places which are more welcoming.

Very nice dinner until the bill came. We were billed for 39Euro in "extra charges" Went to 'Gusto for dinner on a quiet Wednesday night for nice family dinner. We had been in Rome for a week by this time, and had eaten at some very nice restaurants, so we felt quite familiar with the neighborhood and the local restaurants... More

We had a lunch buffet in this restaurant. There was a lot of variety in salads and aperitifs.Though there were not many options for vegetarians like me, yet I enjoyed my starters and salads. The food was fresh, good quality and the lunch buffet was value for money. The waiter served us well and our kid enjoyed the meal too. The pizzas being... More

Gusto is an excellent restaurant. We had black bow tie pasta with prawns and tomatoes. Delicious. Well worth a meal.

There are three 'Gusto around the piazza..in front of one of them we stood for 5minutes, the waiters were looking at us and were emphatically ignoring us, kept talking to each other and laughing. When my husband asked for some attention they were short and rude "tonight we have private party 100people". They didn't even mention they were a chain... More

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
