This is a must try place, especially the house specialty; The Roast Lamb and also the Grilled Cockerel (actually spring chicken). Both of these were fantastic and the Roast lamb was the best I have had in a long time. Definitely the best! Prices very expensive (average around Euro 25 to 35 per pax without wine) but worth every cent.... More

I don't know if there is a single restaurant in Rome to which you give five stars without blinking and call it a day. Each one has something terrible poking out. To start with good things, pizza was super-delicious. No complaints here. Perfect. The best pizza we ate in Rome. Bad thing - prices and service. This could be easily... More

We stumbled upon Gusto while exploring the city. We sat on the Pizzeria side of the patio and had a great view of Piazza Augusto. We each ordered the Focacce with Buffalo Mozzarella, tomatoes and basil. The flavor of the olive oil with the Focacce was amazing! We could have shared one as they were large. The buffet looked marvelous... More

there is no other place in rome where you can fill a plate at lunchtime with a plethora of hot or cold, meat/fish or vegetarian snacks, and get a generous glass of red or white wine, all for €11 plus tip. best value in town.

Great restaurant. We went twice, once formally, once for pizza. Each time we were pleased with the surroundings, the food and the staff.

There seem to be two restaurants. We sat down outside at the main one but when we asked for pizza they directed us next door. Took a while for them to notice us even though there was no one else there (it was early for lunch in Rome) but when they did serve us it was fine. The pizza was... More

Went to the wine bar and loved the place. A large variety of cocktails and a buffet of finger foods to choose from. Music and the decoration was great and the crowd seem to be both young and old.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
