There are several 'Gusto around Piazza Augusto Imperatore and my review is limited to Nr. 28 "Bar & ristorante di pesce (fish) e ortaggi (vegetables)". I went there for dinner and had it in the terrace on the side of the bar among a youthful crowd. The decor is fashionable and the atmosphere pleasant. There is a good choice of... more

I ate there with a group of 6 people in September 2009. The staff are among the rudest I have ever met, from the time I called in to make a reservation until we left after our meal. The food was fairly good but not good enough to justify the snottiness and off-handed nature of the staff. With our meal,... more

Seriously, I should have read the meny and seen that it said 15% service charge...but I didn't..so the extra 10euros was a small shock...but then again...the food was very good and the prices were not bad, and the atmosphere was great,so I would go back again! My fiancee had a really good pizza Diavola and I had a really good... more

We ate at the pizzeria and loved it. The pizzas were huge, thin and not too crispy. Service was good and quick. Only let down was the dessert we had, the caramel panna cotta, which was way too sickly. Apart from that we loved Gusto, and would go again. more

There is several "Gusto"s around Piazza Augusto Imperatore. The places are very different from each other and they should have been listed as separate restaurants with separate ratings. But never mind, we would like to recommend No 28. We went here twice during our stay in Rome. It is a perfect place to sit down and relax after shopping in... more

We had lunch at Gusto and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We both had interesting pasta dishes with either fish or seafood and delicious desserts. At lunchtime the restaurant was not particularly busy so the servcie was fast and efficient. The price seemed OK for a chic place in a Euroepan city although we didn't order wine. Definately a good lunch... more

Service ====== We decided to eat at L'Osteria on the advice of Time Out, tempted by the 'tapas-like' approach to Italian food. This is the latest restaurant under the Gusto banner. Upon discussing the tapas style menu with the waiter we were seated outside, and the waiter informed us that we should order around five dishes each. After reading over... more

My husband and I stumbled upon this place for a couple of beers after getting baked in the hot sun at Piazza del Popolo. The decor is very hip, and anyone who appreciates good design will LOVE this place, just based on that. It is a vast place, and on my way to the toilet, I discovered lots of other... more

We visited both Gusto's whilst there (Number 9 & Number 23). Number 9 is a pizzeria and has the most amazing salad bar which they charge you by weight. Number 23 is more of a restaurant and wine bar but also great food. Both have fabulous decor, very cool and nice outside seating areas although the atmosphere must be great... more
