Horrible service, mediocre.. everything else

At 6:30 the appetizer buffet is free. When I went it came with lots of cheese, variety of small sandwiches, a rice pilaf, couscous, and penne dish. There was one sandwich of cured meat on croissant that was amazing. The rest was just fine. You get all this for free if you get a drink for 10 euro I... read more

This is a fantastic place; integrated kitchen-shop with restaurants and occasional live music. Highly reccomendable!

The food was delicious but a few unexpected surprises left us with a nasty taste in our mouth. They automatically put bread and two bottles of water on the table. We didn't ask for these so we're surprised to be charged for them. We've since learnt that charging for bread and water is standard in Rome but most tourist restaurants... More

We went there to have pizza because in the hotel we were staying they suggested us this place, it was a nice place to have dinner, I ordered lasagna and it was spectacular and big!! Service is kind of rude but sometimes you just get used to it in foreign countries, I try to keep my expectations not too high... More

My wife, 13 year old son and I had dinner here after this place was recommended to us by an Italian friend. The place was very busy for a Friday evening yet they coped very well. The restaurant atmosphere and decoration made the meal more enjoyable. The service was good, pizza's delicious and would definitely go there again. I noticed... More

Second time there in current year. The quality of the food is really excellent, service with lot of care by waiters; menus is wide with good choice of both local and Italian food.Excellent wine selection.

We went here on the advice of a local because of the happy hour appetizers. Our initial waiter, Anthony, seemed to be offended by our request for a wine list and stomped off without a word of explanation. He did eventually drop a menu off at our (still unclean) table, but left someone else to take our order. Food was... More

We went to 'Gusto for aperitivo - cocktail hour, and we stayed! It is good to go early because after 6:30, the place gets very busy. One cocktail is 10 Euros, but it includes a plentiful buffet of hot and cold appetizers - you can have unlimited trips to the buffet and the food is tasty. They do seem understaffed... More

Extremely arrogant and inefficient staff, unwilling to serve. Worst pizza ever. Dirty toilets. Worst experience in Rome!

I went to gusto with 4 friends for aperitivo. when we arrived we asked for a table and we were told, that we could only stay for 30 minutes, as they had a reservation of 200 people that night. The waiter was rather unfriendly and stressed at the beginning, but after he was told that the reservation was only going... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
