We came to know of this place after my wife was handed a leaflet of special offers at this restaurant. We decided to go that night and though we were sceptic at first we thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere and ended up going again a second time. Do not be put off by its location in a narrow alleyway;... More

Off the beaten path, the set lunch menu were varied and delicious. Will be back if I am in the area! Small space, but feels comfortable.

We saw a flier at Trevi Fountain touting this restaurant and a gentleman guided us through an alley to find it. Waitress (maybe owner) Katia greeted us, a group of 7. We studied menu for quite a while and after trying to take our order, she said: "Look, if you are not sure, let me pick your meals for you.... More

We were on a day trip to Rome, a group of six of us and had just visited the Trevi Fountain and we we rather peckish. A gentleman passed us a leaflet showing various options at a very reasonable rate. 15€ for three courses - pasta- meat - dessert and water 13€ for three course pizza menu and water -... More

We were traveling as a group of twenty-two adults and one teenage. We were directed to il Pozzo dei Desideri, assured it could handle our weary group. It was around the corner from the hustle of the Trevi fountain on a quiet side street. We were warmly greeted and encouraged to relax. We enjoyed our choice of multi-course lunch options... More

This restaurant is a true gem! After a long overnight flight from Birmingham, Alabama, we were looking for delicious Italian cuisine, without the crowds....il Pozzo Dei Desideri was delightful. As a native New Yorker of Neapolitan descent, I absolutely recommend this restaurant. It is right by the Trevi fountain and you will LOVE it!

So, you have seen the Colosseum, treked through the Forum, had a meditation moment in the Pantheon and headed up to the Trevi for Rest and Recreation, only to be surrounded by annoying traders and ice cream. Ne Timere! Fear Not! One of the most pleasant little restaurants awaits you. Pleasant and reasonable. Terrific service. Fresh food up from Naples.So... More

We arrived at our hotel in Rome, Hotel Trevi and they recommended this lovely restaurant for our lunch. We went in expecting pizza and the lovely waitress Katia strongly recommended that as they had a chef unlike lots of other places we should make the most of that. With her help we made the best decision and had a 3... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
